Is this for real? She looked soooooo sad..

Also, if he has been shagging other women for so long - including when she was pg - was that her fault too? Was she too pregnant?? If it was all lies, he'd deny it. No question. Why wouldn't he? I think the fact the girls look so much like Posh and the texts are so similar are also giveaways. But the bottom line is, if it wasn't true, he'd say so.

Think the sad thing is that I have never seen Posh look so pretty - god maybe if she had learnt to smile a while ago!!

Agree with you Aloha - if it was not true he would deny it completely - to say that the allegations are ludicrous is not really saying anything at all!!

Absolutely aloha. Although they've called their lawyers in - as a PR tactic I reckon. The NOTW says it stands by its story 100% though so I doubt the Beckhams will actually sue.

from a legal view it is pretty hard to prove unless one of the girls has videoed the sex or even a witness etc.the onus in defamation and libel suits is on the other party ie: NOTW /Ms Loos and Marbeck to prove their story, if it is not proven then the Beckhams are entitled to their assumed good name and reputation.
So it is his word against theirs, it would likely get settled out of court to avoid personal particulars being made public...
I can understand why people are making VB out to be the crap wife, I mean married to the worlds best man, why does she ever want to be apart from this he God, serves her right... what else is he to do bless him... poor DB

beckhams statement said they were consulting with their lawyers, surely the only thing they can tackle through a legal angle is the management company who employed Loos i.e. confidentiality agreement?? how could they prove that he didn't shag them??

Yes, but he would still deny if not true. It's human nature. Also, the texts were from his phone number. I think he's not going to wriggle out of this. I also guess VB knows if the texts are his or not - ie she'd know his tone, turns of phrase, the places, his preferences etc. I think her public humiliation must be awful.

Sorry if this has been said before further down - 185 messages to search through, I'm not that mad - but in The Times they had a piece saying that the NOTW were on to this in September, worked on Loos and she gave them her mobile phone so when DB thought she was texting him, it was actually a NOTW reporter! Got him bang to rights if that is true.

Feel v sorry for Posh, she can come across as annoying but she is still human. And, again, sorry for any repetition, but why is she getting the blame for all this? And these so called other women? They are not married, he is, therefore is anyone should be slagged off, goldenballs is your man.

DP said that he would not be at all surprised if they were originally in love at the beginning and now their relationship is just like a business partnership (one I would like to be in if I got to shag DB!! ) - it is indeed hugely profitable - hope not though - hope they are actually in love and David has just been an arse!!

Oh, I don't know. I think he could still love her but want to have sex with other women. I'm sure some men can think like that. I notice that he didn't talk about her or his family with the other women - in fact, all he talked about with them was sex.

I BET he didn't say that about her. I bet that's just made up because he refused to talk about his wife with his shags. That's not defending him BTW. Also, was intrigued (sad, sad, sad, I know) that if things are as they seem then VB knew about shag1 - she intercepted the texts.

I personally think it's all bollocks. Why exactly have these women come out now and said all this???? Even IF it were true I mean.... get a grip! It was an easy bandwagin to jump onto as they are always modelled as the perfect couple and he's the family man blah blah blah.... what higher profile marriage is there at the moment to sabotage?

hmm... pinches of salt all round! I wish the press would leave them alone.

I think it's pathetic to have all these photos of them with people trying to analyse their facial expressions and body language to see any 'tension'.... OF COURSE there's tension... there are a couple of gold digging slappers spreading rumours about them! I'd be tense too.

And if it is true.... it isn't exactly uncommon and perhaps it would be better if they could be left to work through it without the tabloid crap. They don't have to come out and publicly declare anything one way or the other.

Trouble is M2T, they aren't trying to resolve their troubles in private. Those photos are the result of deliberate photo opportunities laid on for the express benefit of the papers - they tell the paps/tabloid photographers where they are going to be and arrange it all.

For me the thing about Posh insisting on pursuing her career isn't so much that she shouldn't because she should have stayed home and been a proper wife, but that she shouldn't because then we wouldn't have to listen to what she does. I wouldn't mind if she was any good!

Would be better if they were left to it M2T but their whole life is spent courting publicity for what it does for their careers (his as well as hers!! in terms of his sponsers!!) - if you sell your soul to the media at no point can you just decide to step away and not have them interfere!!

I don't particularly like the Beckhams, but I do get the feeling that this is all a bit ridiculous. I'm sure we will never know what went on. I just don't understand why these women would want to do this????? Even if it were true.

I've got a few stories I could tell about a certain Everton striker.... but he isn't high profile enough!

unfortunately this is the stuff that sells newspapers - supposedly he is mr perfect and they are perfect couple and we all sit round waiting for them to fall flat on their faces! also, again unfortunately, there will always be plenty of willing slappers to sell their stories (true or otherwise) to the press for more money then they can ever possibly earn (the Loos woman has so far gained £800k out of this).

These slappers need to have a close look at their morals, one step away from the oldest profession if you ask me, money for sex = brass. Beats standing on a street corner I suppose.
