Oooohhh this is sooo naughty - he can't just deny it if it is true - works both ways if she can prove it and he has denied it she can sue him!!!

Apparently this is what is driving Posh mad - she knows that for the papers to print it they must be pretty sure!!

kiwisbird · 06/04/2004 17:09

maybe VB knows, maybe they had an open time when they were't getting on and have decided that they do love each other after all and are working to save their marriage, she came back to the Uk to reflect and he had a wee old time in Espana
This is what I want it to be....
LOL
Why oh why do I care about two such odd people?

you tell me kiwisbird!! Did this woman stop being his PA person in december, maybe it was true, maybe they have both dealt with it now

kiwisbird · 06/04/2004 17:20

well when the suspicion was first aroused, Ms Loos left the Beckhams pronto...
So it maybe so....

I know a friend of a friend who claims to have seen the goldenballs as well, never believed it, shes a bit of a slapper but it could be true, shes married to a v rich man so would not kiss and tell for the money.

Fio2 · 06/04/2004 17:37

it could be that something did go on, whether its to the extent the papers are saying, who knows? but I suppose he cant really do anything can he?

WideWebWitch · 07/04/2004 22:23

Thanks for the Sun link Janh, hilarious non quotes from Bush etc! I'm gutted, I have to say, if it is true, I thought Beckham was better than this and was a proper faithful family man. I didn't realise I was so shallow either but spent Sunday saying, "oh I'm really shocked at this" to friends who kept saying "what about? ohhh, Beckham?" (while giving me funny 'you're weird' sideways looks)

emmatmg · 11/04/2004 07:32

Anyone seen this yet?

Oh dear Mr Beckham, you naughty boy!!!

What a pig!

littlemissbossy · 11/04/2004 09:00

thanks for that emmatmg!!! i'm not at all surprised to be honest - the whiter, than white image is all a sham. even though posh is a pain, i feel quite sorry for her. what do you think she'll do next?

bunny2 · 11/04/2004 09:13

Blimey. Poor Posh. I still cant really believe it is true though.

gothicmama · 11/04/2004 09:15

Do you think Mrs Beckham will leave him now - even if she knew before and forgave him in private it's different now it's public

littlemissbossy · 11/04/2004 09:29

I think it's true, I know someone "who works in the press" and rumours like this have circulated before!! can't go into any details or the beckhams might sue mumsnet!!!

Okay, that photo where they are together. She looks like she is hauling him into frame, hardly a cosy piccie is it?

I hope it isn't true, I think there are those kiss and tell girls who prostitute themselves in hope of big money and papers lap it up. I guess they have no self-respect and no shame.

Beckham is a great role model, unless this is true. Unlike the majority it seems, of footie players, who are out getting drunk, beating people up and worse. If true it will be very very sad and disappointing.

aloha · 11/04/2004 23:06

It must be at least partly true otherwise he'd issue a denial and sue... very sad and generally disappointing IMO. don't all the girls look like Posh? He clearly has a type. If those texts are his he sounds good in bed though (should say that I know) even if he has only the vaguest idea of English grammar. It's all so sordid yet so compelling. Poor kids though. Fancy reading all that about your dad.

I meant to type - 'should'NT say that I know' ! - my friend who is 6months pregnant said that reading the texts - even in their highly asterisked form - gave her the first sexual frisson she's had in, ooh, about six months

I notice that in the Loos version of things, on that link that emmatmg set up, Posh is constantly made out to be the one in the wrong, despite the fact that HE'S the one that can't keep it in his trousers. I think it's easier to paint it like this because she (Posh) has never been very popular compared to the way everyone worships at the altar of Beckham in this country.
I get the feeling that the story has been embroidered by the newspaper, as far as the slagging off of Posh goes, to cater to the tastes of the British public, i.e. 'Posh is too thin and just look, David thinks so too! Serves her right for being skeletal, having her husband shag around, blah blah blah'.
I'm not even very keen on her but it pisses me off that she's the one that's being blamed. She must feel like shit at the moment. I feel very sorry for her.
(Not that she'll be very appreciative to be receiving the Pity of Moomin at the moment, but still!)

WideWebWitch · 12/04/2004 08:27

Quite, moomin. Why is it even remotely her fault if he can't be faithful? Beetroot, me too! I too think he'd deny it very strongly if it wasn't true and he hasn't so I think it might be. I'm still gutted.

Jimjams · 12/04/2004 08:35

I thought this article in the Sunday Times yesterday was good.

your husband or your life

Moomin · 12/04/2004 11:29

Yes I read that this morning, JimJams - quite good for the ST, didn't you think?!
I notice from this that those vile parasites Tony Parsons and Linda Lee Potter have had their say in their columns this week, again solely planting the blame at Posh's feet. Where do these columnists get off being so utterly vile and getting paid for it? I couldn't live with myself if my living was made from spouting poisonous shit like this.

WideWebWitch · 12/04/2004 11:53

Great article, thanks jimjams.

WideWebWitch · 12/04/2004 11:57

and this will damage the Beckham brand: I refused to buy ds a pair of David Beckham M&S trousers on Thursday.

Demented · 12/04/2004 13:57

Yikes! WWW, I never thought about that, I bought DS1 some DB stuff in M&S in the sale a few weeks ago to put away for next year.
