Thanks Yummy! I went to Mothercare world in Stevenage and they didn't have the pictures there. Which one did you see them in? In the Mothercare I went to they onlyhad the baby size Halloween costumes so maybe if I go back in a couplke of weeks they will have more costumes and the pictures.

dylansluckymum · 21/09/2006 10:45

just wanted to share i finished my first knitting project! it's a baby scarf (what a surprise!) and i posted a pic on profiles. it was such good fun my next project is a patchwork baby blanket.

ellesmum · 21/09/2006 10:49

mrratty · 21/09/2006 10:52

dylansluckymum - well done, I went through a knitting stage but only finished 2 scarfs and a couple of pairs of booties. Lucinda Guy has some lovely patterns but they are a bit complex!

dylansluckymum · 21/09/2006 11:02

thanks! i was inspired by the debbie bliss shoot so have bought her baby knits for beginners book it's brilliant so far and i'm very much looking forward to the next 3 projects in it. each project highlights a new technique it's really straightforward and i'm totally enjoying it! will let you know how i get on with the blanket.

bluetiger · 21/09/2006 11:03

julie4travel · 21/09/2006 11:11

lanismum · 21/09/2006 11:12

bluetiger, thats what happened to me, i applied before christmas, and was told they would be in touch in jan when they were reopening their books, she was invited to an assessment, and then offered a contract.

bluetiger · 21/09/2006 11:18

lanismum- well thats a good sign then, did u take the contract. Are they a good agency?

YummyMummy21 · 21/09/2006 11:28

Mrratty> It was in Kingston where I saw them, but I have another two stores that are local so ill look in them for you too. I'll see if I can get the pics when they have finished with them if you want and then send them to you. I'll say shes my niece or something and that I know her mum would love a copy. Do you think that would work??

Dylans> Well done on the knitting. I tried it once but am rubbish at following the patterns.

Lanismum> Hi hun hope you are all well.

Blue> The same thing happened when I apllied to UA then we were invited to an assesment and they offred DD a contract. She had her first casting a day or two after the offered us the contract. She has been with them sice Feb.

Good Luck
xXx

Hi Rubystar77,
Lets hope something comes up soon for you too. Have you asked Rascals about updating the photos. Fred had his updated a little while ago. No more luck since then but has to worth a try eh? x

YummyMummy21 · 21/09/2006 11:39

Bluetiger> She is 20 months today where did the time go?

She has had quite a few castings, but only 3 jobs (Littlewoods/ John Lewis and Cow and Gate), she was penciled in for 4th (Littlewoods) but they used older age group.

Are you applying to any other agencies?
xXx
