As most of you know, I'm having my second mastectomy on Thursday. I will almost certainly need to have more chemotherapy.

This is my thread for those who wish to walk beside me on my journey.

I am glad you got some dishy doctors to look at - if you have to go through something like this then it seems only fair to enjoy the view!

I hope you managed to sleep well and get plenty of rest stern librarian look I'm sure desdemona is lovely but we don't want her hanging around any more than necessary...
When DH had to go into hospital, he was on a drip for so long that he named it 'Steve'

It's a beautiful day down here in the mild mild West Country but I have a feeling it's not going to last. It's a bank holiday tomorrow, rain is practically the law.

Good morning! I got 10 hours of virtually uninterrupted sleep. Desdemona keeps draining away - 130ml in 24 hours.

The sun is trying to peek out so it may be a lovely afternoon.

Dead impressed with doing a supermarket shop three days after that operation! Look after yourself now.

So pleased everything went well! And your wooly hug is lovely, actually brought a tear to my eye (I blame PMT) at the lovely work kind people do making these blankets etc.

Not yet, Zing. When the District Nurse comes to remove Desdemona, she will also change my dressing. That will be my first peek. I'm wondering if she gave the smiley eyes this time.
