I don't get much time to read but when I do, I tend to buy Red or Eve. Just thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else reads.

Sorry, that last post reminded me that when I'm in America I go all out and buy everything, especially the Christmas issues of Martha Stewart Living, Martha Stewart Kids (quarterly - excellent make-and-do projects) and Country Living plus anything else that takes my fancy (a real sucker for interiors magazines)

Country Living
Smallholder
Grazia
and I occasionally succumb to heat.

bubblerock · 25/07/2006 12:09

I don't buy magazines but I've done loads of trial offers - I love getting them through the post! There are loads here

JoshandJamie · 25/07/2006 12:23

when I lived in the US I subscribed to Bon Appetit - and have kept all my copies and still use the recipes in them. Fab mags

Newsweek, BusinessWeek, Economist, Forbes and PR Week (godawful trade rag but its like Heat for people in my industry). All because I had to for work and am now addicted.

Glamour for girly moments, Delicious for the foodie in me and Heat when I want to feel empty of head. (but i pretend to myself that I read it because its important to keep up with the zeitgeist... tragic fool that I am)

JoshandJamie · 25/07/2006 12:51

Meowmix - am in PR too. I lurve the gossip that goes on in PRWeek. And i particularly love the way the whole industry takes itself so seriously.

Are you in an agency or in house?

Private Eye
Good Housekeeping
Glamour

Misspiggy · 25/07/2006 13:14

Another vote for Eve which is intelligent but not too up itself as it still has fun features as well and their brilliant freebies (wore the free wrap they gave away a few months ago to the races on Sat and it looked lovely). Also read the Guardian magazine on a Sat and Style and the "serious" magazine from the Sunday Times. Must try Red as lots of people seem to like it.

LiliLaTigresse · 25/07/2006 21:47

dh gets PRWeek too, there's something I work on that features in it once a month at the moment

milge · 25/07/2006 21:57

Good Food, Olive,( on subscription using Tesco vouchers) Easy Living, In Style sometimes, Heat, closer, Ok and Hello in the hairdressers. The Week and the Spectator for more informed reading

apronstrings · 25/07/2006 21:59

oooh I wish I had time for magaazines

bakedpotato · 25/07/2006 21:59

subscribe to Private Eye, The Week, Easy Living, Vogue. Found OK on the bus today. Who were all those people?

neena28 · 25/07/2006 22:00

Red, New woman, grazia (for gossip), and I love she. Not all the celebrity cra but lots of really useful articles about all sorts of things from tips to write a letter after someone has died to how to sort out your garden. Can't rate it highly enough.

Also read Commercial Motor...but that is purely for work purposes!
