I don't get much time to read but when I do, I tend to buy Red or Eve. Just thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else reads.

OP posts:
saadia · 24/07/2006 22:12

and Prima, which had another free magazine with it. Oh and also Junior - gosh didn't realise I had so many .

sunchowder · 24/07/2006 22:56

Good American Ones:

Better Homes and Gardens
Oprah
Cosmopolitan (for juicy orgasim advice usually--try one on the newstand first)

TambaIsHotHotHot · 24/07/2006 22:58

poisson · 24/07/2006 23:02

TambaIsHotHotHot · 24/07/2006 23:03

Well, if its a fishy order id better jump to it

(what mags are groovy then?)

Donk · 24/07/2006 23:04

New Scientist
Horse and Hound

MrsAnthonyKiedis · 24/07/2006 23:05

heat, and sometimes OK if there is a big wedding in it and I want a nosy/bitch

MrsSpoon · 24/07/2006 23:08

Good Food
Easy Living
Red
Eve
More rarely Closer, Grazia or that new one supposidly about the news that still seems to focus around celebs and their figures.

I used to pride myself on no wasting money on mags but seem to have developed a bit of an addiction lately .

Eve has been good for freebies of late, had a fab lipstick from them a couple of issues back, just my colour which was a miracle and I love this month's stripey bag from Hobbs.

hermykne · 24/07/2006 23:12

cant beat grazia these days, i love it and save it for lovely quiet moments

then
living etc - for dream home
harpers
red

psychomum5 · 24/07/2006 23:12

I read....

Grazia
First
Closer
Reveal
X-Files
Buffy and Angel when I can find them!!

Also read at least one book a week too. Waterstones make lots money out of me, as well as Tesco as there book selection is always good, and so cheap.

Also read the Daily Mail most days too.

And then if there is a decent freebie and I am at the hospital with one of my many appointmaents with the kiddies then I get that too! Kiddies get one too when at hospital, so that adds to the bill again.

psychomum5 · 24/07/2006 23:13

ambercat · 24/07/2006 23:31

Never seen easy living, will look out for it, thanks

saadia · 25/07/2006 08:02

yes I agree Easy Living has a lot of interesting stuff in it.

cupcakes · 25/07/2006 08:14

on subscription:
Easy Living
Country Living (I enjoy things which are living...)
In Style

also get either Heat or Grazia and very occasionally Junior Pregnancy and Birth.

moondog · 25/07/2006 09:58

Love Donk's choices in the middle of all this girly crap.

I get my babysitter to give me her Take a Break and similar nonsense.
Take 'em to Turkey for English learners as the vocab. and syntax is so staggeringly basic.

HappyDaddy · 25/07/2006 10:32

Stuff Magazine every month. Newsweek occasionally.

JackieNo · 25/07/2006 11:14

I used to read Martha Stewart Living magazine too, because it was completely escapist and unrealistic for me (about housekeeping etc), in the way that Vogue is for fashion/beauty.

m1m1rie · 25/07/2006 11:56

Period Living And Traditional Homes
Easy Living
Olive
Junior
In Style (If it's a good freebie)
Country Living (If I haven't spent ALL my money on magazines by then)
Horse & Hound (at work)
