I don't get much time to read but when I do, I tend to buy Red or Eve. Just thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else reads.

OK before I name them I'll tell you straight out - I've picked them for the numbers of competitions in them - so

Take a break
Chat
That's Life
Real People

I am another magazine addict and need a daily fix even though it's often the same stuff rehashed, usually how VB/Nicole Richie et al are getting thinner (what more can they say on the subject) lose a stone/7lbs/3lbs in hours/weeks/days, how Charlotte Church is getting curvier (ie fat in magazine-speak). Why do I buy them?? But atm am going through a Grazia/Closer/Good Food/Eve phase.

JackieNo · 24/07/2006 18:43

Regularly: Vogue, Easy Living, Eve, Waitrose Good Food. Occasionally: Good Housekeeping, Red, Instyle, She, BBC Good Food.

JackieNo · 24/07/2006 18:44

Oh and 'Happy' occasionally too.

Troutpout · 24/07/2006 18:48

None , but maybe i should if you get free Cath Kidston bags

nikkie · 24/07/2006 19:34

Don't usually buy any unless there is a fantastic free gift (so never then!) but was reading the chat/take a break etc in the soft play this am and I can't believe some of the people I must live a sheltered life

Eve and Good Housekeeping - both absolute bargains as I used Tesco Vouchers - something like £8 for a year's subscription

dmo · 24/07/2006 20:17

tiptoes · 24/07/2006 21:28

Love any of the foodie mags,Good Food for quick meal ideas and Olive for something a bit fancier.

moondog · 24/07/2006 21:31

She is very good these days
Woman & Home also good.
Red used to be
Junior (although full of silly fashion spreads and regurgitated portions of child psychology texts)

my2shoesare2hot · 24/07/2006 21:39

I don't often buy them as they get a bit repetitive but when I do it's normally one of the following:

Cosmo, Company, More

I also read any magazines that I come accross at friend's houses & my mum's womans weekly (although most of that is irrelevant!)

I really like the how to spend it magazine that comes in the FT. (Especially entertaining is seeing how much revolting items of clothing cost!)

controlfreaky2 · 24/07/2006 21:50

vogue / grazia / heat....
sometimes marie claire (but always wish i hadnt bothered)

ShowOfHands · 24/07/2006 21:52

Real
Country Living
25 Beautiful Homes
Period Living and Traditional Homes
Amateur Photographer

Turquoise · 24/07/2006 21:55

Only one I get every month is Easy Living, it's brilliant. Often buy Red, She, sometimes Grazia. Get Marie Claire and Elle at work.
Bought InStyle this month for the freebie - excellent stripy vest top which is cotton and actually FITS!

BoilingHotFrayedKnot · 24/07/2006 22:04

I am the Imelda Marcos of magazines..

I usually buy..

She
Woman & Home
Ideal Home
Living

plus often some other interiors ones, and maybe Eve or Easy Living.

saadia · 24/07/2006 22:09

well, this month I got She, Easy Living and get Hello if it looks interesting (after flicking through). Am also very fond of ES magazine that comes free with the Evening Standard on Fridays.

saadia · 24/07/2006 22:10

oh yes and I got Good Housekeeping.
