A little Mornington Crescent - anyone care to join in?

I just fancy a change of focus.

I'll jump right in with Great Portland Street - I think I'm entitled to do that, with it being beyond the autumn equinox, but before Halloween?

Any takers?

monty very aggressive play during the season of goodwill. glad tidings from nidd

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/12/2013 09:01

Eek. It's getting rather fraught again. I'll attempt to get HoHo out of nidd with a Return Transept to

Belsize Park

TheHeadlessLadyofCannock · 20/12/2013 11:31

Aldgate East, and Brew and a hot mince pie to all.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/12/2013 13:46

Thank you, HeadlessLady. Civility restored again. I'll now essay the Winstanley-Danthorpe Bypass to

Ealing Broadway

TheHeadlessLadyofCannock · 20/12/2013 17:02

Loughton. I'm following Stadtmeister there, obviously.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/12/2013 17:32

I need to revise my Stadtmeister, clearly. I have very few options now, but I think my best is

Perivale

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 21/12/2013 08:16

ooooo Mince Pies! Cheers cannock

this reminds me of the 1998 quarter final - and in that vein I will play Tottenham court road

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 22/12/2013 00:07

My junior assistant is recommending a Lateral Moog to

Angel

TheHeadlessLadyofCannock · 22/12/2013 14:27

Some of us don't have assistants, junior or otherwise, and must think of our moves ourselves so I feel a little stuck and can only think of Hainaut. I don't think this contravenes Merrick, because of the ameliorating rule about Tri-ganders, but do say if I'm mistaken.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 22/12/2013 14:33

I like to think of it as training the next generation.

::dynastic::

That move seems fine to me, in fact the perfect embodiment of Velasquez-Montoya. My assistant reckons there's no alternative now but

Balham

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 22/12/2013 15:19

my assistant is 11 months old and currently napping.

He has only just learned to shunt so not useful at this level

a shunt to pimlico pleaseGrin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 22/12/2013 15:39

See, he is helping and providing inspiration.

MightyMagnificentScarfaceClaw · 22/12/2013 15:46

Pimlico Albert ? Do I need to remind you that it's a Sunday with an 'r' in the month?? Well, if you really want to press the point, then:

South Woodford.

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 22/12/2013 15:52

mighty I see where you're coming from but as the jubilee is high and we are past the equinox. pimlico was the only way to avoid lood.

SleepPleaseSleep · 22/12/2013 16:42

I tried playing this with my dc's, using body parts, with the eponymous ender being 'leggies'! Thought dd, 3, was doing ever so well til it transpired she hadn't understood the instructions. Then of course we had very short games. Sigh. She still likes it every so often though.
Who invented it? They should get an award for best demonstration of Britishness and long-term entertainment or something.

MiniMonty · 23/12/2013 00:32

I hear (from the Guruchal MC academy gossip mill) that Maud's "assistant" is a trophy toy boy.
HA !

Late advent remapping applies so

OLD STREET

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/12/2013 08:27

Toy boy? As if!

Monument

MiniMonty · 24/12/2013 02:42

Freudian slip Maud.
Monument says it all.
200 ft phallus with a flaming end?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/12/2013 07:49

Oh really!

::clutches pearls::

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 24/12/2013 09:27

Now now, the only child-like troublemaker on this thread is me Monty.

Although I must ask whether Mauds pearls are of the necklace variety.

So employing a continuum thrust move, we arrive at
St James's Park

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 24/12/2013 11:47

Better Late than never pan

a shrewd move there. I'm going to have to think about this one in true Dadsnet style

MooncupGoddess · 24/12/2013 12:15

Look at you all, trying to drag our nice wholesome game into the foul mire of your unspeakable fancies.

It's Christmas Eve, which means it simply must be Star Lane.
