Dear all,

I feel totally stunned today. I phoned the consultant to ask about the report from the radiologist, and she told me that the radiologist found no abnormalities on the x-rays!
Which obviously is FANTASTIC news... but I don't dare believe them yet! I fear he made a mistake, or overlooked something, or looked for the wrong thing. Don't know whehter to ask for a copy of the report, or even a copy of the x-rays. It just seems waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too good to be true! Esp. in light of all the going-ons last week with the pneumonia and the oxygen-dependence...

I just don't know what to think now!!!

What a relief emkana - you have to believe in it, they're the experts!

Love to your gorgeous baby boy xx

Mercy · 29/06/2006 20:08

Maybe get a 2nd opinion to allay your fears? Even so

SenoraPostrophe · 29/06/2006 20:08

hoorah!

I am no doctor, but don't be too superstitious about the oxygen dependence stuff - any baby who catches viral pneumonia so young is going to be very poorly indeed. I think that was just bad luck.

So do you think it would be okay to ask for the radiologist's report? or even a copy of the x-rays?

LIZS · 29/06/2006 20:13

oh wow, that must be so exciting but can understand your doubts after all you've been through. Does this suggest you can rule out all the potential conditions ?

dinny · 29/06/2006 20:14

what great news, so pleased for you, Emkana

I reckon it would be fine to ask for a copy, considering all the stress they put you through through pregnancy. Really fab news

ambercat · 29/06/2006 20:14

Fantastic news

emkana · 29/06/2006 20:15

The consultant just sort of speed-read the report to me, but basically it seemed to say that everything was normal. I would really like to read it though to know exactly what he looked at.
