misdee- if i remember rightly didn't someone track down the persons home address (Dan or someone) I am sure I had read that in one of the old threads, you may want to plough through them to see who it was and see if you could ask them to email you directly- Good Luck

Your right in wanting the pictures off! I would too

mrratty · 04/07/2006 11:09

I'm sure that Izzy had found the home and mobile numbers for Dan in Essex. I'm not sure if anyone called them though. I really do feel for you especially as some people were commenting on how great they were, though no one seemed to get any work!

misdee · 04/07/2006 11:29

i have their home address and phone number. its not too far from me, but cant get there for a while (north weald in essex)as have quite a few full on weeks with appointments for the kids (medical), peters social worker wants a meeting, and we are still trying to get his carers sorted so he can come home.

oh, and have to get serenas passport size pics and letter from doc for liscence.

julie4travel · 04/07/2006 11:31

misdeee - is it worth you writing to them in teh meantime?

Sounds like you have your hands full

misdee · 04/07/2006 11:34

this happen every couple of months, i get an influx of appointments all within a couple of days/weeks of each other. dd1 goes to dermo every 6months, dd2 has hearing appointment, and little serena has eye clinic tomorrow. she may have to have glasses, if she does then will have send CK new pics. its quite funny, as dd2 is desperate to wear glasses (she is 3) but doesnt need them. funny little people, kids are.

mrratty · 04/07/2006 11:42

If you have their home phone number then why not call?

misdee · 04/07/2006 11:44

cos i'm chicken!

misdee · 04/07/2006 11:46

oh, itsb a mobile number not a home number.

does anyone else want these details? you can get them all from companies house, so maybe i should post them here?

2ManyPimms · 04/07/2006 11:48

Tink - I'm sorry about your loss, hon. ((((((huggers)))))

Mimi - I'll be looking for the ad! How exciting!

Misdee - What is up with IK - how odd!!!!!

I'm still wading thru the last thread. Gosh, I can't keep up!!!

Wrote B&B yesterday to say that DS was fighting fit and ready to go! They want a photo of Julian with scar so they can let people know where it is and how large. It isn't looking that great - about 2cms long and a bit wide, slightly beyond the eyebrow. Reddish too. Great. Can't they put make-up on that or something? Hope this doesn't kill modelling for him - he has really enjoyed it so far.

mrratty · 04/07/2006 11:54

I don't see it being a problem for photographic work as they can just blur it out. Hopefully casting directors will think it adds character!

mrratty · 04/07/2006 11:54

misdee - I think I'd be to chicken too!!!!!

mimi1uk · 04/07/2006 12:19

ive have seen it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mrratty · 04/07/2006 12:30

mimi1uk - thats great, did you manage to record it and did it look as expected?

julie4travel · 04/07/2006 12:53

2manypimms- what did your ds do? was he the one who hurt himself on the shoot

hope it doesn't affect his work? will it fade with time?

2ManyPimms · 04/07/2006 13:31

I haven't seen the commercial yet...nuts!!!!!

Yup. DS went to step off a box he had been standing on for the shoot and the box went one way, he went another and sliced his head open on another box. In theory, the boxes should have had non-slip something on the bottom but they didn't. B&B told me that it shouldn't affect his possibilities, but in querying (how do you spell that, anyway?) the scar location, size and requiring a photo as well - I don't know.

Well, it's the 4th of July. Only remembered because another American woman said "Happy 4th" to me today. Now DH wants to have the full spread "American Picnic" tonite. I told him I am NOT making fried chicken in this weather...sheesh! :D Looking forward to the thunderstorms tomorrow!

mythumbelinas · 04/07/2006 15:43

mrratty · 04/07/2006 18:29

Has anyone ever been to a studio in Wilsden? We are going tommorow and I am wondering how far from the station it is.

perfumelady · 04/07/2006 19:08

mrratty whats the postcode and which station?

mythumbs are you there?

mrratty · 04/07/2006 19:32

It's in Nw10, I have found it on StreetMap but I'm useless at judging distances.
This will be DD first studio job everything else has been on location. At least she won't be left waiting for the right light!

thorntons · 04/07/2006 19:46

Mratty .Good luck to dd for her job tmrrw! Have you googled the studio to see if they have a website ? Sometimes I just email/call the studio for distance/directions etc and generally they are very helpfulx

tavalana · 04/07/2006 19:47

there are many studios in nw10, I've taken my daughter to several in that area.
tfl.gov.uk should tell you how to get there.
