Hope everyone is ok, things are a bit down here I lost my uncle on sat which was when my DS was one.. so a bit of a strange day. He had never met my LO and was going to in november so I feel awful.. part of me blames myself for him not meeting him ( sorry this so isnt this thread! )

I feel very sorry for those of you who have had parties, but am gladd that you enjoyed it. My DD's 1st b-day was bad enough, we had 30 adults and 4 children and it was winter!! I cant imagine all those children, and in the heat aswell. You guys must have the patients of a saint

Yummy mummy Spotlights website is www.spotlight.com my ds recently joined with CS Management and they recommend that you pay to go on Spotlight. Basically people lookingh for tv work etc sometimes look on Spotlight and then contact the agent to book you. Somebody previously said that only certain agents have an agreement with Spotlight. I don't know if thats true yet I think its worth a try. I paid £80 for a year on it so hope it pays off!

Its my ds 6th birthday today so he was very happy today. Plus there is a few American kids in his school so hopefully it will be a good atmosphere with the 4th July. It seems his birthday is never ending.

2 parties on Sun (25 kids first with parents, 14 second sitting without parents ) relatives last night for buffet and cake and chinese tonight with Grandparents. Plus my hubbies birthday on Friday and I still haven't got him anything. I did buy him a Sat Nav thing (hoping we wouldn't make same mistake and go to wrong place for assesment again!) yet he made me return it saying we wouldn't use it enough. Then I try getting this boring old jet wash for the car and its out of stock. His wardrobe is fully kitted,music he downloads and generally doesn't need a lot

Really in a dilema of what to get him at this late stage, think i was so caught up with my ds birthday i kept putting off my hubbies one! Any ideas appreciated

mysonsmummy - i'm with IK, but I have no idea what exactly has/had happened. I've gave up my hope and believe they've gone for good!

Tiger- you can always get your own photos done of your child and send those in for the modelbook and web at MOT?

They have to be headshot,proffessional type and it may cost you more than you would pay by going thru the agency as I think they get discount but at least you can pick your own faves to submit and get them done in your own time when it suits you

misdee- there was a big thing about IK in one of the lasts threads that went pair shaped about them no longer being contactable etc , you might want to look through some of them. It appears they sort had a problem with their offices and not been contactable since, I think a lot have given up on them now. You might want to ask one of the mums who were actually with IK for the full ins and outs on it, the last thread wasn't at all happy with IK! Sorry, I hope thats not the case.

i was with IK, and thats why i am trying to contact them. they do appear to have done a bunk, so am not very happy, in fact i am angry beyond hell, but i want serenas pics removed from the site, as she is now with cheeky kidz.

misdee - do you have to pay them any money before they went missing? i know what you mean if ds was on their site i would want it removed too. we were going to go with them as some people who were with them had really good things to say. not sure if anyone had a job with them though?
