I had a professional website built for my company and it only cost me 500 pounds, all they would need is a few clients and they would get their money back- what bu**ers! Looking back I am so glad they said no to my little ones.

does mummytotobys mum name negin with a L?

msnetmummy - i spoke to box and they designed the site for IK and when I told them they r listed on the site, thats what probably made them take their links off, not the owners.

and as i said earlier the names on the site have nothing to do with box as they dont even know them, not employees of theirs so thats why box have taken their link away.

one other point is some of the adult models have exixting portfolios so could have been photographed by those [dead] photographers?? and IK have decided to add their names to look good.

just been back on there site, its changed so some ones still doing some thing, and i clicked on the web addys, no such thing

i was just about to say taht i called box and they probably have pulled their details from the site and not IK. man on the phone was sounding a little 'miffed' to say the least.

ive just read back and see a few problems with the email IK sent to misdee:

1. The council has been asked to cease any photographic work ongoing from the building (der!!! doesnt mean they have to bugger off and not be contactable for months does it?) They werent told they cant operate an agency which is what they took the money from parents for

2. they said they have 'terminated their contract' as a consequence but previously said the council had voided thier contracts and leases?

3. negotiations throughout europe with model agencies? agencies wouldnt work with other agencies as they are all in competition with each other? Being in foreign lands was a hint of where everyones money has gone i would say

4. They have told people to email new photos to [email protected] but that address is not being replied to by all accounts, so what is the point?

5. They said that all client numbers stay the same? They havent got any client numbers at all. Theyve only got one for kids and one for adults and theyve been disconnected!

Then they finished it off to say that they hope they hadnt left anyone off their list when sending the email? They should have sent it to everyone on their books? That smells like they have just sent that email to persistant parents to stall them and covered their arses at the end just incase someone says they never got it

I think the police would be best to sort this out. It is clearly a class A Theft and Deception case to me..

where would i stand with the copyright with regard to serenas pics? they are lvoely pics (damn you IK, why did you have to be good photographers!!), and it seems a shame not to use them? should i get them printed them out and use them as an example? i dunno what to do.

obviously i can uase them for family and friends.

Firstly I woud like to say that I am very sorry for all those people who are with IK and that I really hope that they are not a scam, and sort themselves out shortly.

Secoundly I was telling my friend about it and her cousin is with them too. She wasnt sure if his mum knows whats been happening but she is going to spread the word.

misdee why do u think u cant use the photos, who gives a toss what they might think, when they've ripped you off, there is no clause that says u have to obey the copyright but they can p* off and leave u without details for months, use them for CK (the photos of S are beautiful) and when and if they were to complain (unlikely) i dont think they're gonna sue u are they?

sha11, the pics are 4months old now, so i just sent that i took yesterday of serena being cheeky. P said they will be fine.

yup sha11 is right. those pics are sooo pretty. just use them!

at last, got an email to confrim the job for my ds & dh! so, its for real!! i'm happy!!

yes, over 100 pics. in fact they sent the disc twice!

yummy, iv not heard from ua, so im guessing they dont want her for the casting after all, did you hear from them?
i didnt get a chance to apply to ik, was obv only going to do it just to see if they would reply if they thought there was a chance of getting photo money, think that would have set the record straight with regard to if they are a scam, sadly its looking likely they are

Misdee - don't panic hun, I am here CK tried to call but I was out so they left a message on the answerphone and emailed (but obviously I was out!) and called my mobile but I was driving I have now spoken to them - they wanted ds chest, waist and hip measurements, so fingers crossed Sorry for the panic guys

before they shut the site down...
