Julie4 >> Just rang cs as dd went to dentist today and was put out so she could have her teeth out, they have taken 3 teeth out all on the same side, so i phoned to see if they still want dd to come up for photos and they said to still bring her up as cant be helped its so annoying tipical 3 days before photos. I asked steven how many children were going and he said the photographers only there from 10 - 11 so he shouldnt think to many. What time is it your going.

oh god the ik stuff worsens! cant believe the audacity of them, citing things that they havent done or used. it's completely out of order and i would be fraught with frustration if it were my kids on their books, and anger too obviously.

My ds tooth bottom right is sticking out at a wierd angle as really wobbly. I told Ryan to try and keep it in till Sun and I will try and get it in a good position and I will pull it out when we get home so the new one can start growing ready for when he in theory gets a job! I cut his hair aswell before the shoot as it was getting soo long and I wonuldn't want casting agents to think his hair was aways like that

We are going for eleven yet I guess we will arrive early if there is no traffic. Carole said its ok to go for then. I am hoping that the photographer will do a photo of my son with my daughter at the end (as I am taking her aswell) hopefully Carole might like her and say she can have a place in August when she is three. you never know!

hello sha11. nowt to report, need to update AK with dd's details and ds is toooooo busy at school, what with swimming, footie and tennis. He's still keen though so perhaps we'll do some in the hols

i would just like to say how sorry i am about ik , i was hoping that my initial gut instinct would be wrong and it did worry me that so many of you were saying you had signed up. i did email the p*k that runs the show and asked why they didn't list clients like all other agencies, if they could name a few that they had worked for recently, how long they'd been going and loads more and i got a reply saying sorry we are not currently taking on anyone at the moment the funny thing was i didn't give details of any children i had and i didn't ask about joining and of course he didn't answer any of my questions which weren't in any way rude and i wasn't asking for private and classified information, i knew then that something wasn't right and on a few occassions i posted messages of caution but no one would really took note, the trouble was some people were saying how fab ik were how good there website was, what lovely photos etc and i can see why so many of you were sucked in.look how many thousands got conned by models direct, me being one of them, so i really know how you guys are feeling, but it will make you more cautious in the future if that is any consulation. if you go onto the alba site i'm sure there is a bit somewhere on the site where you can complain and in most cases get your money back. maybe they have been forced to shut down by the dti not so long back they had a survey on the stage website which asked questions about agencies and charges etc and the agencies that charged they wanted to know name and amount they charged so maybe they got found out from that.

This whole IK thing stinks and I think reporting them is the only route from here on.

Sitting and hoping they haven't conned everyone, as much as we would all like to believe it and I can't blame anyone for that, is not going to achieve anything......wake up and smell the coffee!

Izzy > The business about them not contacting people if they werent closing down is not really relevant. It has gone far beyond that now...their phones are off, they havent got new premises (which should take a good business just days to do), they have lied about the details on their site etc etc etc, far outweighs the rest. Also they didn't send that email to everyone and only to selected people so that stinks too?

Sending an email out to people that they did to me smells more fishy than if people didnt hear. It sounds like they were stalling people to give them more time to clear the company out and disappear.

just another thought...I know loads of people that have companies and design their own websites so that wouldnt have cost them a tanner if they did it themself so it doesnt matter and if they are involved in loads of other companies and scams then even if they did pay for the website then the money theyve nicked off everyone would have easily covered that and more! Even enough to cover a great holiday in the caribean

im really sorry if this is all true etc for those of with them, i do not really know much about them, all i do know is it took ages to actually send a application off to them by email, they never seemed to answer so i sent a postal application, in the mean time i got a no from the email, then three days later a yes from the mailed pictures, by that time id gone with kids london,, but thought that it was weird one min no then three days later a yes,...

Riley is 10 months old,, in them pictures,, and a growing little monster,,x

mumsnetmummy- your right if u done it yourself it would not have cost a lot at all,, loads of people set up and maintin their own websites,,

ladies we have a spy on here or someone feeding IK information!! Just been on their site and all the emails referring to the box company have vanished and the names amended slightly . Also the links to the websites for the photographers etc link to absolutely nothing as there is no such website (well I didnt expect the one that died in 1971 to still be working anyway lol)

BEWARE!! If you are going to do anything, then dont warn them on here

AND....

to have access to the admin area for amending main script (not photo's etc) is something that is controlled by the person that built the website and hosts it and NOT the company that use it. So to remove that lot etc they must have full access so built it
