bigbaubleeyes · 17/05/2006 00:40

I thought it would be nice to celebrate all the positive advice people have found useful from MN. I hope this thread will end up containing a summary of some of the best advice covering all topics.

At the moment I can remember (without looking)

Big knickers for after birth
Advice on SPD and my entitlement to physio
How to make play-dough
Whether to buy a bf bra before or after birth (seems silly but the things you get your knickers in a twist about when pg!)
Recipes to cook for freezer when pg
Maternity bag items
Lots of reassurance when I was due to be induced

errrrmmmmmm......wot about everyone else, i bet there are some corkers!!!!! Grin

batters the one you are thinking of is to wear a pair of tights over your head when talking on the phone thus you do not have to hold the handset and can hoover or do other household chores at the same time. Pure gold.

Leaving your hands free to wear old socks to dustWink

My best advice was 'You're her mother, of course she'll still love you.' which was given by someone (can't remember who) to Lizzer (anyone else remember her?) in ummm about 2001..it was a thread about leaving a toddler overnight with babysitters for the first time.
The words kept coming to me during lots of the more difficult times when ds was little.
