Maternity bag items
Lots of reassurance when I was due to be induced

errrrmmmmmm......wot about everyone else, i bet there are some corkers!!!!! Grin

One of the June '05 Mums furnished us with 4 full verses of 'row, row, row your boat'. Up until then I'd thought there was only one. ds loves it!

general advice that i wasn't crazy to try to build up bf again at 11wks having 'toppped up' since 4 wks

most of all: i think it was bunz(?) - make a fixed time for dvds they can get to know, rather than just switching on cbeebs whenever YOU feel like it, so that the sprog knows where he is. he still sometimes protests when i turn it off, but it's a really token protest as he knows tv time is over for the day, and he has got to know the stories and weaves them into his own play.

loads else but those i really remember

Kathy1972 · 18/05/2006 11:23

One of the things that brought me to Mumsnet in the first place was an article listing lots of great MN tips of which the best was

'It is ok to draw a moustache on your baby for fun but don't do it in permanent marker the day before the health visitor comes round'

It still creases me up.

bluejelly · 18/05/2006 11:27
