How many of us actually meet Shona's little sidekicks criteria?
She states that all of us on Mumsnet are in our 30s, living in London and have a degree. How many people here meet that criteria?
How many are popping prozac depressed at the shit life we now have with kids?
Damn that woman is nasty!

OP posts:
McBalls · 11/04/2013 13:02

I am in my 30s, live in London, no degree, no depression, no medication.
I will try my best to do better.

ExitPursuedByABear · 11/04/2013 13:02

Degree. Bloody autocorrect

AndTwoBits · 11/04/2013 13:05

30's with a degree and living in Dublin. 2 outta 3 ain't bad.

gazzalw · 11/04/2013 13:06

The Daily Fail never gets its facts right!

Well and rightly defended Justine! Grin!

moisturiser · 11/04/2013 13:07

God it's depressing that in this day and age so many people have a problem with women expressing an opinion and even, shock horror, swearing.

Am in my thirties, have never lived in London. Not a mum, have never and will never wear Boden. Do have a degree though. Not currently on anti-depressants.

EarnestDullard · 11/04/2013 13:09

I'm in my 30s, live in London and have a degree. I'm such a cliché BlushGrin

No Prozac, although I'm starting to see the appeal of a bottle glass of gin wine some nights.

NigelMolesworth · 11/04/2013 13:11

37, West Midlands. Degree.
Work part time in my own business. Love it.
SAHM for the rest of the time. Love it too.
No Prozac.
Secretly has a bit of crush on Justine having met her at BlogFest.
Not mean and nasty on MN or in real life.

TolliverGroat · 11/04/2013 13:11

Degrees and London, but in my 40s. Have no intention of reading DM link, but for the record I have no Boden, am not on Prozac, have never understood the point of Uggs, think my children are pretty ace although am aware others may unaccountably not share my opinion, and am over Hobnobs (although I was quite fond of them in my 20s). And I seem to remember being nice about Amanda Holden on those threads last year (but then I seem to remember the majority of posters being nice and telling the nasty minority to sod off).

SanityClause · 11/04/2013 13:12

In my 30s - I bloody wish!

Degree - tick

London - well Greater London, so half a tick

Prozac - no

Depression - only when I look at the ironing pile

TolliverGroat · 11/04/2013 13:14

Still, if she hadn't written the article thingy I wouldn't have been pointed to the Kitten Block addon, so there's been a net gain to my happiness.

ScrambledSmegs · 11/04/2013 13:24

Haha! 30's, London, degree. But I am quite sickeningly happy with my 2 kids (2nd is miracle baby) and tend to take WWPHS* as my MN mantra, so try to be nice as fuck Wink

  • What Would Pag or Hecate Say. Of course.

PS Have mega girl crush on Justine.

AwkwardSquad · 11/04/2013 13:29

None of her criteria apply to me. Lazy journalism. Although that's an insult to journalism, I gather she's a columnists so paid to drivel on about her tedious home life. Yawn.

elQuintoConyo · 11/04/2013 13:34

Pigsmummy · 11/04/2013 13:34

Surrey, 38 no degree but well paid job and a happy mummy, no Prozac needed.

FairPhyllis · 11/04/2013 13:36

30s, not in London, 3 degrees.

flaminghoopsaloohlah · 11/04/2013 13:44

I meet one of those criteria...

Is anyone going to take the results of this survey and collate it all into a nice neat little table/pie chart for Shona-the-rash-Generaliser to peruse?

MimsyBorogroves · 11/04/2013 13:50

31, 2 degrees, South West.

My pills are for migraines. I had those long before I procreated.

Kbear · 11/04/2013 13:53

45 but look 28, no I do, ask Justine, she met me, she'll tell ya

Saaf London

Loads of O levels, RSA Typing Stage 2 Distinction, Teeline Shorthand one zillion words per minute, and I quite like The Three Degrees.

Tee2072 · 11/04/2013 13:58

Justine is my girl crush this week. Grin

44, Belfast, degree. Pop pills like candy. Legal ones. Honest. Wink

Labootin · 11/04/2013 13:58

ScumbagCollegeDropout · 11/04/2013 14:03

Oooh my first mn deletion Grin

Okay I'll try again.

Kasterborous · 11/04/2013 14:06

In my 40's, don't live in London and haven't got a degree Grin

wonkylegs · 11/04/2013 14:06

I'm in my 30's, have 3 degrees but live way up north.
Take lots of pills but not for depression.
Dislike Boden - really not my thing!

MintChocAddict · 11/04/2013 14:30

Very late thirties Sad
Have degree
Live in Glasgow
Only been to London twice
Couldn't afford Boden even if I wanted to
Have a pair of fake Uggs
No pills
Don't post very often but have been here for ages and lurk mostly
Loads of good advice and funny posters

mejon · 11/04/2013 14:39

45 (in a week!), degree, live in mid/west Wales, no pills apart from the odd paracetamol.

What the silly SS appears to have ignored is that people were probably only having a pop at her after reading one of her attrocious family confessionals. Don't lay yourself bare for a buck missus if you don't want people to react to the drivel you write.
