How many of us actually meet Shona's little sidekicks criteria?
She states that all of us on Mumsnet are in our 30s, living in London and have a degree. How many people here meet that criteria?
How many are popping prozac depressed at the shit life we now have with kids?
Damn that woman is nasty!

I am picturing one of those Soviet style posters, of an army of superior breast-feeding communists.

MrsPeeWee · 11/04/2013 12:37

Nope. I'm 23, currently in Edinburgh and don't have a degree Angry

Although I do take prozac. Not because I dislike my life as a mother - I've been like this since I was 15.

stinkyfluffycat · 11/04/2013 12:38

Would OpinionatedSuperiorBreastfeedingCommunist be too long for a new nickname?

wiganwagonwheelworks · 11/04/2013 12:39

thirties. Three degrees

BoreOfWhabylon · 11/04/2013 12:40

Yay, Justine - give 'em hell!

I'm a postmenopausal barren spinster living in the sticks nowhere near London.

I do have a degree though. Hopefully counterbalanced by lack of Boden and Hobnobs, so can I stay please?

BenjaminButton172 · 11/04/2013 12:43

30s, degree, nowhere near London, no Pill popping.

YonirockandrollbutIlikeit · 11/04/2013 12:46

Is breastfeeding compulsory? It's rather difficult when you don't have any children, and I'm not sure my neighbours would be happy about me borrowing their baby...

stinkyfluffycat · 11/04/2013 12:48

Oh, and you can install addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/kitten-block/ to stop you clicking on the Daily Fail - if you click on a Fail link after you've installed this it gives you pictures of tea and kittens instead. Much better for you.

DoIgetastickerforthat · 11/04/2013 12:48

30's - check. London - check. Degree - check. Prozac and hating my kids - no, will try harder though.

ivykaty44 · 11/04/2013 12:50

I think that the DM online hits have gone down since there was a boycott on linking to DM pages - so of course they are now very cross with mners for altering their stats and shocked at the rate they have dropped , now what are they going to do to keep the editor in any way happy?

Quenelle · 11/04/2013 12:50

Live outside London.
No degree.
I have been in my 30s, but I'm not currently.

Well done Justine for showing her that the world knows she's making it all up. The DM printed 'facts' about my village a couple of weeks ago that were so untrue it was laughable. And a bit worrying.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 11/04/2013 12:50

43
London
2 degrees

No pills but pop smarties like um smarties Confused especially when I've stolen them off the children (see there are advantages to having DC).

Maybe I don't need the prozac because I can afford the private school fees without losing my home. Wink

Pan · 11/04/2013 12:51

Live N Derbysire
No pills (kids get there before me!)
Not even a proper woman.

LadyBigtoes · 11/04/2013 12:52

40s
Don't live in London, do live in a big city
Degree
Popping SSRIs, yes I am and I'm not ashamed of it. For anxiety from a combination of PND and family (not kids or relationship, extended family) issues. Having a go at people for taking medicine to treat an illness - that's the lowest of the low. Using mental health problems as something to mock people about? - it's not 1523 any more.

MyNameIsAnAnagram · 11/04/2013 12:53

"I am picturing one of those Soviet style posters, of an army of superior breast-feeding communists."

Yes exactly, all with rolled up sleeves and headscarves Grin

LtEveDallas · 11/04/2013 12:54

40, no degree (but lots of professional quals), in the arse end of Oxfordshire, 1 child, no drugs of any kind (unless the occasional Vodka and Diet Coke counts?)

No hob-nobs, no boden, no Uggs. I wear uniform during the day and Asda jeans at night.

I actually read MN for the very first time from Iraq - and joined up on my return.

I'm about as far from her lazy stereotyping as is possible!

LtEveDallas · 11/04/2013 12:55

Oh and Justine - you really are fab

fortifiedwithtea · 11/04/2013 12:58

Late 40's
Live close to London (half hour fast train)
No degree but professional qualification in insurance
Prozac before DC because of high pressure job. Now Citalopram for anxiety because I'm now epileptic.

  • In my 30s
  • Two degrees
  • Live about 20 minutes from London (but not in London)
  • No pill popping

Can I stay?!

thornrose · 11/04/2013 13:01

40s, moved from London to sunny West Sussex, no degree, no Prozac yet , I'm not keen on Hobnobs, I'd much rather have a Jaffa cake.

ExitPursuedByABear · 11/04/2013 13:01

Fab Justine. Did she reply?

You are all so young!

UtterflyButterfly · 11/04/2013 13:02

Way past 30s, living in Ireland, yes to degree. No Prozac, no Hobnobs, did buy a dress from Boden once, when desperate.
