yack was you asked to go? i just feel like why do we have to seeing as they only used him 3 weeks ago!!! surely he cant have changed that much!!! iz reckons could be different casting director. still annoying, or unless they are reshooting everything and he isnt in the catalogue now, oh no!!!

Cyan, Sadly the little man hasn't be called for although I wish he had as we could have met you for lunch then!!! I am sure that your chappie will be in the catalogue and maybe these are different casting people you are seeing. It could be for the magazine, posters, christmas toys.

What do you think the casting will involve, will it just be a quick photo or will they have to try on clothes?

2manypimms......Sadly I also watched C4 last night looking for him! I had been told at the time of the casting that the Ident was for E4, but just thought I'd got it wrong. Will now watch and record some E4. Will try to catch some for you and put onto DVD if I can. Then I could send to you if you like. I always like to watch out for the things my kids cast for and see who got the jobs and if we know anyone. This was a casting my ds particularly enjoyed. Where there several little boys at the shoot? Which agencies where they from?

Izzy......Can you tell me more about Inspired Kids?? Never heard of them before coming on here. They have a LOVELY website with really great pics. What do they charge for joining and photos etc? As MOT is not sole.........may think about another agency???? Have you had any work from IK?

Ragamuffin >> IK is lovely, the owners are great and they have a very inovative approach to the biz and yes they have a fantastic website and the photos are also really nice, they don't charge anything to join and £100 for photos and website creation which I think is not bad at all considering the quality, plus you get all the photos on a cd and the photoshooting is quite a long one (2 hours for us) so lots of nice pics to keep! Having said all that, they're a very new agency and that means they don't yet have too much work for their kids, I think they're still in the process of building their reputation. We're with them and other two agencies as well but I know that they will go to the top very soon just need sometime!!
If your little ones are more into tv you should apply at Cheeky Kidz, the owner is really really nice and they get a lot of work for older kids and there's no contract!

izzy, shes fine, is still escaping from highchairs, prams, and cots, i hope she never learns how to escape her carseat!!! i hope you are feeling ok, not long to go now before you meet your little boy, i cant wait to see him ! ill go and meet the people that have mothercare castings, will get to have a chat and a nose round the shops Grin hopefully you will be able to make it too, but completly understand if you cant!

Hi all

At last we have a job in 1st week of June for a baby book publisher, no casting so that should be fun, its at some studios in Bethnal Green, cant wait.SmileSmile

they said it would take a couple of hours and to bring some bright and stripey clothes etc in case theirs dont fit properly.

Izzy.....Thanks for that!Sounds like a lovely agency. I do hope they make it in this competitive industry. The price is not bad for the photo's and they are really lovely. Have you actually had any castings or jobs from them yet though? How long have you been with them?

As far as the TV/Film stuff goes, we have a sole rep for that. So would only consider another photographic agent.

izzy - your probably right. i was just getting bit impatient and thought is UA say no im back to square 1. lisa is lovely - threw me a bit when she wanted to ds to do role play - never done anyting like this b4 - love him. however seeing UA first and will see what happens there. will also wait now before going to see IK as well. do alot of people charge the £30 assessment fee?

mysonsmummy >> I know ES, NC, Childsplay, AK all charge the £30 fee but it varies a lot from agency to agency tbh!

thanks izzy - with the shoot for AK - do you get lots of copies of the photos they take. only just over a week till i know whats happening with UA. then ive still got IK and AK to see after. just so impatient. its my own fault i should not have stayed on BK for so long. but until i came here if you have no-one to speak to about it it seems normal. did you say you are having a water birth?

mysonsmummy >> I wouldn't know about AK's photoshooting because they only do for over 2's, we never had to meet them at all, I think there's someone here who took her lo to the shooting a while ago but I'm not sure tbh!

I'm considering a water birth, not sure yet, I don't cope well with pain so I'll just see how it goes! The talk we went to at the hospital really put me off though, the mw didn't know how to explain things properly, was irritating!!!! only 12 days to due date, can't wait!
