i was going to wait and see what happend at UA interview in half term but applied to AK this morning. Lisa ran me straight back and left message. she said about ds coming in to do some role paly - has anyone done this? also how much do they charge and are they sole rep?

i have decided if its only the ones that charge alot that want to take him on im going to leave it for a while - they seem to be the ones that have loads of kids that look the same. any advice appreciated. thanks

mysonsmummy >> my advice? wait until you see UA... we're with AK and they're good, no doubt but UA has been going on for longer and have a better reputation and from what I gather they have a lot more work for their kids than AK... Lisa is lovely and so is Alysia from UA, if I were you I'd go see UA first and if you're not happy with them or if they don't offer you a contract then I'd try AK. Just my personal opinion though :)

Hiya Izzy hon, How did the shoot/shopping go???

Had the job in Richmond this morning, dh drove us there, there were kids from ES, Scallywags and Truly Scrumptious all older than dd but all really cute! It was less than two hours and most of the photos were with adult models and lots of flowers!!! They said they will let me know when the photos are on the website!

Yackerty >> No time for shopping, dh was in a hurry to go to work, grrrr maybe next time have you heard about m&s job?

...no not heard any more about M&S so I am guessing they have rubbed out his pencil - have your friends heard anymore?? What was your job for today?? Shame about the shopping but I hope you are still feeling well????

Ragamuffin - That was the audition! We don't have E4 so I won't get a chance to see it on telly but a friend offered to tape one or two for me. The problem is that I never know when it is going to be on.... Waiting for the promised DVD from the production company though.

izzi - just read about your dds hair! I'd have hit the roof. I am funny about hair though....

Mrratty - 7 hours! Jeez! What a long time!!!!! Good luck with the Mothercare casting!!!

beacon - It was quiet with B&B for several months before the calls stared coming in. Everyone says that you have busy times and times where you think your agency dropped off the face of the earth. This is the "dropped off" phase perhaps!? Hang in there! Welcome!!!! How old is your LO?

DS had a casting for a Burberry Japan ad yesterday. Loved it...took nearly two hours to get there (don't ask.) and two minutes for photos and checking his height. I love castings as they give us the opportunity to see DH in London for dinner. Spent an hour and a half watching BB - AUGHGHHGHGH - before the realisation hit me that he wasn't on C4 but on E4. Drat.

yeah......its so much nicer when you find out either way but I suppose each agency works differently.

oh pimms i watched BB .. and looked out for your ds, but didn't see it .. didn't watch e4 !!!

Pimms>>> I watched some of E4 but the guy bugged me so much I had turn over!! BUT I will look out for it again tonight as it seems to be on 24/7 on e4!

cyan, maybe we could just take transport, so not to worry about parking or the 2 hr limit ... could meet up first in the area to have lunch? then off to the casting as it's anytime in the slot. You liked your thai last time .. there is a thai place across the road, if you like ... let me know :)

thumbs that sounds fab will you be going on the northern line? will it be easier to meet you at your station or shall i meet you outside the station nearest the casting?
