Is it just me who thinks that CBeebies Sid is just lovely? He seems to have had his hair cut today and be looking particularly fine... Maybe I should get out more after all!

Kirsten's teeth piss me off too, pathetic I know.

suzywong · 15/01/2004 20:42

I really wish she would close her gob when she is so close to the camera
And comb her hair

Paula71 · 15/01/2004 22:19

Pui was in Edinburgh recently with bub and partner. DH dealt with their hire car, he didn't see the bub properly as it (not even a he/she guess, men, honestly!) was snuggled in the car seat they had hired.

First he told me her partner was Sid off CBeebies and I got all interested! Then as we were watching it a few days later on his day off I pointed Sid out, not him says DH. He now thinks it was the guy who plays Danny Glaze (is that the characters name) off the Bill! Who he really is will be stuck in DH's brain until he sees him on telly and puts me out my misery!

DH scored famous point by telling Pui he knew she was Po and that our ds twins (aged 2) love her and missed her when she wasn't on!

(So far I have Justin Timberlake and Quentin Wilson's autographs. DH is useless for getting them and he meets celebs all the time! He asked if he should have gotten Pui's autograph for the boys, like they would know!)

suzywong · 15/01/2004 22:23

That is very impressive. When he remembers who her bloke is be sure to resurrect this thread.

Did you know Po speaks Cantonese in Teletubbies, now I know why

Roscoe · 15/01/2004 22:26

I thought Kirsten was the one with Dougie the Dog. Isn't the one who can't close her mouth Lizi? I get the feeling she really isn't keen on doing those scenes with the children in the nursery either. Have you ever seen such a forced smile??

BearintheBigBlueHous · 16/01/2004 22:34

You're absolutely right Roscoe, I stand corrected, Kirsten is the one with the dog, and delightful she is too. I agree about the nursery scenes - those poor kids having her and her gob to deal with. Those smeary-paint-on-the-windows excuses for pictures are causing me sleepless nights. I'd rather the Beeb spent more of my licence fee on power lunches and class A drugs than commission any more of her masterpieces.

HiddenSpirit · 16/01/2004 23:34

My dp and I knew we had CBeebies on too much, when we played the official Cbeebies album and were singing along to most of the songs

DP always makes me laugh when he says about Yoho Ahoy, he calls it Yahoy Yaho lol

popsycal · 16/01/2004 23:37

popsycal · 16/01/2004 23:55

my favourite has to be the 'larger gentleman' who dances at the end of 'brum' - that is the only reason i watch that programme......

popsycal · 16/01/2004 23:56

i mean the only reason that ds watches.....

BearintheBigBlueHous · 17/01/2004 00:02

Was laughing at him this very morning.

Can I vote from the male side of the bed - Shelley Wordsworth has made Storymakers worth watching again and (although this is the subject of heated debate in the Bear household) is there not a new librarian at the end (no, not the beardy bloke)?

Nobody know Sue's age then? There is a whole chores rota riding on this.

popsycal · 17/01/2004 00:03

what age do you want her to be?

I know this isn't Cbeebies but has anyone seen Sue Thomas: F B eye on hallmark, 7pm on Saturday' Sunday night? Jack, Sue Thomas's FBI 'trainer'. Phwoah!!

bluesky · 17/01/2004 15:09

Bearinthebigbluehouse, we met Sue in the summer and she looks 10 yrs younger in real life. I always thought she was alot older, but she is really sweet and sparkly, I'm terrible at ages, but she's not over 30-32, if we're betting!!

BearintheBigBlueHous · 17/01/2004 19:38

Ar*e! Best get the marigolds on then. Thanks. BTW I think she's great, much livelier than Nicole who doesn't really get into it at all. DD loves her too and, everytime she sees her or hears the "the time has come to say goodnight" song, keeps talking about her dropping the soap - which she did once about 10 days ago in a bathroom sequence.
