yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 08:15

Grrr....I am on holiday the 29th!!!Angry So won't be able to join you - what a PITA!
MIMI - have fun today, we have to phone the agency after a job to let them know how long we were there...normally the travel takes longer than the shoot!!!! Some agencys have invoice books they like you to get signed so depends who its with. Is there nothing in the paperwork you've had from them??

strawberrymilkshake · 13/04/2006 08:23

Good morning everyone

Good luck for all those with jobs and castings.

Totally>> my dd has just joined cs management as well, so we might meet along the way how old are you dds again.

mimi1uk · 13/04/2006 09:11

izzyrubi · 13/04/2006 09:20

'morning all! good luck mimi and don't forget to let us know how you get on! First jobs are so exciting Smile

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 09:20

MIMI - If its KL you have to call them to confirm the time worked so they can invoice the client. Are you driving or going by train??

mimi1uk · 13/04/2006 10:10

dp has thurdsays off so we r driving today

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 10:19

Ahh thats easier....saves traipsing the pushchair on and off the train. Did you go via train the other day??? How did you find it?? Did you find the travel took longer than the casting??? I always feel knackered when i get back and its only about an 1hrs travel for us!!
Have fun today - am sure your little one will love it!

mimi1uk · 13/04/2006 10:35

yeah got the train it was about a 2 hour trip to get there, all in all casting took 5 mins, and i was so tired, my mum come with me ,and was such a great help, i could not have done it with out her my best friend works in london and she plans all my routes for me and emails me where to go with maps etc, she is great like that i am useless to b honest, never been to london by myself before untill all this, the escalators int the underground are a nightmare. riley is too heavy for a baby carrier thingy now. well the soft sort anyway ,,

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 10:46

Yeah....I need to get a lighter pushchair! We still have a travel system sort and they are soooo heavy even though my little man is quite light for his age! Hope your casting wasn't early morning... afternoon ones are sooo much easier as the trains are quieter and you can be a bit more organised! Well sort of anyway!!

izzyrubi · 13/04/2006 11:01

I had a wonderful pushchair that I loved but it was so heavy and bulky... we bought a McLaren Triumph and it's fantastic, it's really light and easy to fold! Now with baby 2 coming I'll have to buy a double... are you buying a double yackerty?

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 11:10

ahhh.....i have a bit of a fear of double buggies!!! so not sure what to do yet! Think I will have to thought - some of them are so small that they don't look like the 'traditional' double buggies do they. Must start getting organised just in case this baby decides to arrive early.....also got the builders starting in a couple fo weeks.....JOY!!

perfumelady · 13/04/2006 12:01

yackertyyack yes do get organized, my dd, baby no 3, came three weeks early and it took 15 mins from start to finish she arrived as i was walking down the stairs to get into ambulance, bit of a shock for everyone, i had nothing ready so was totally unprepared.

izzyrubi · 13/04/2006 12:05

Perfumelady >> Oh don't tell me that! I'm so relaxed this time around I don't have anything, no bed for baby, no car seat, no nothing, poor thing! Only thing I have are his clothes and I'm about to go and buy some nappies and stuff...
Yackerty >> Have you thought about the Phil & Ted's? Seems like the best option, it looks a bit bulky but at least it's not bigger than the side walk :)

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 12:13

Perfume.....15mins!! WOW!! Thats pretty good going, they say they get shorter with each baby so if you have any more you could set a record!!! AM slightly nervous as my DS arrived 5 weeks early - bless him, i was on my way to a gym class Grinand I am going to make sure I pack my bag way in advance as DH had to do it last time and I ended up with a big white new fluffy towel and lots of skimpy underwear!! Ahh...He was in total shock though so was forgiven!!!

totallyfloaty35 · 13/04/2006 12:45

Strawberry,my dds are 8&11yrs.

izzyrubi · 13/04/2006 13:42

Totally >> Just wondering, have you evern been in contact with Fresh Agents? They seem to be a good agency and are in Brighton, not sure if they require sole rep but if not maybe you can apply for dd2?

cyan · 13/04/2006 13:46

hello all! 15 mins perfumelady well thats not bad, i thought i was quick, my labour was 3 1/2 hours, suppose not bad for a first!

yackerty we are meeting at oriental city on 29th but if you fancy the softplay let us know! if i email you, you can let me know whens good for you Smile

cyan · 13/04/2006 13:47

ooh i know fresh agents i was going to contact them when we were living in brighton! hi izzy how are you?

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 13:52

Yes please Cyan for the soft play day!! Where was it again?? Not even sure if it is near me but have car can travel!! Are you thinking of moving back to brighton???? If you do we can all come down to visit - I love Brighton...we used to go to a really dodgy nightclub there...is it kings??? God it was ages ago!!! Hope you and the little fella are ok....is he getting any easter eggs???

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 13:52

Can you tell I am at work and vvvvvvvvvvvv bored!

cyan · 13/04/2006 13:57

softplay is in stoke newington, nr highbury for all you gooner fans if any of you are Angry!!!!
looks nice i take little man to one called topsy turvy world, which is nice but prob to far for everyone as its in herts. stoke newington one is not far from the tube but think there's parkign as well.
id love to move back to brighton, but im not sure if i could do it this yr, it's too much to have to move again, and if i get the job im going for then ill have to stay here. but yes if i do go then, you are all welcome to come and visit us!!!

kings? im, not sure there was the event 2, which was a complete dump, paradox which changed names to something else but cant think what now, and then the ones on the sea front, the beach, the honey club, zap, ooh im getting all nostalgic now!

cyan · 13/04/2006 13:58

how long have you got left at work? as in days?

yackertyyack · 13/04/2006 14:14

....i have got 28 working days left as i have a little calender reminding me!! Didn't realise how much I would miss my little fella but I have a picture of him beaming at me on my desk!! The soft play sounds good and highbury is only about 45/50 mins away from us on a good day so would def like to meet!!! I recognise most of the clubs you mention but I was normally p*ssed by the time we got there (and it was about 11 years ago Blush) so it could have been called anything!!! Hope your job thing comes off..when will you hear????

strawberrymilkshake · 13/04/2006 14:25

Totally dd is 9 so we might end up at castings together that would be good.dd is a very little 9 she looks more 7
