finally found something to amuse my son a door bouncer, he was getting bored of everything now his in there bouncing around and screaming with delight its so cute,, wished i could have a go lol

MUM007 - just a bit confused here.
as last time when my son had put forward for a job with MOT. i called them few days later, they told me he had been shortlisted. then a day later, they confirmed that he didn;t the job.
so, i thought 'shortlisted' is the next stage after puting forward application.
you know what i mean!!
fingers crossed for you lo too!

your agency should only call u if youve been shortlisted....if they are calling to say that they have put you forward each time, they cant be that bust putting children forward to be able to call round all the parents....!!!!

Tiger- Thats how BK have always worked with me. Maybe in this case it was because they knew I was going on holiday in May so thought they would check she would be available!
Didnt really ask too many details ( i never do).Then when you come off the phone you think of all the things you wanted to ask!!!

MumJane- Thats what I was going to say. My DD could be seen by 50 different clients a week but maybe only every so often the client would want to see or use her for a job.
Thats why I would assume if you do get a call it would definitely mean your child would have been shortlisted from the original batch (so to speak).

Hi Tiger- when i read back my post I thought slight exaggeration at 50 clients!!! But Think you know what I mean!!
The 2 of us from BK. Izzy got hers through AK. Wonder if they will use any other agencies?
Just shows what a small world it is!!
Having to hide out in my study at mo hence still here!!
Had new kitchen fitted last week and got the tilers in doing the floor!! Am exhausted by it all. Still will be finished by this evening. Can sit down with glass of wine watching The Apprentice. I luv it!

i love the The Apprentice too. i watched the 1st epsoide. also the US one. but, the UK one are much better i think.. can;t wait, its on tonite!!

Yes I didnt watch the first series but I just love the tasks they have to do each week. Dont know who I want to win. Dont really warm to any of them.

Is Ruth the larger lady with the red face!! My mum would say " I knew she was i definitely could tell". She always does that. When Pat Butcher came out as gay she said " Ive always thought that"

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on for ages but this pregnancy has really taken it out of me - especially with ds to look after Grin I haven't even had time to catch up with the posts Blush Have just had an email from CK - they have put ds forward for a commercial and we have to wait and see now - if they want to see him the casting will be Tuesday (a day before my scan) so busy, busy, busy and fingers crossed.

Another friend of mine said that she know other two mums that ahd their kids short listed for this website job... they must be taking loads of people, if only that meant something! Not sure if dd will get that job, but oh well fingers crossed!

Thats why i never get my hopes up Izzy for any job until it is absolutely confirmed. I know my DD has been shortlisted but suppose that doesnt mean too much. If this was our first job I would be all disheartened now hearing of all those others that are "shortlisted". It must be some big job.
Izzy it was Inspired Kids you got it through wasnt it? I think I put earlier AK. All these abbreviations confuse me!
At least your lo has been definitely confirmed.
If we dont get picked you will have to let us all know what it was like. x

MUM007 >> They haven't confirmed her yet and now that I heard so many other kids have been short listed I really don't have my hopes high! It wasn't through IK that we got the job, was CK! I know it's all confusing, I get confused sometimes :) I'm not sure if we're doing the right thing in being with more than one agency but if Irene can be with Kids London, CK and IK than so can we!!!! I still don't get how she's with all those agencies, especially KL that has a sole rep contract and all... very weird!
