Ciao tutte!

Habitavo in Italia per tre anni....In mio opinione humble, Jamie Oliver e' un gran cacacazzo.

(Mio fourcentesimeworth...)

GoldandOrangeAnnunziata · 24/09/2012 21:59

Ciao a tutti, benvinutu!

Siracusa e bedda! I'm Envy

Si, certo, gottasmile! When the blossom comes in, it's so beautiful, it's unbelievable. And at night it feels so special, I always think there's such a strange feeling there. And always so hot!

Alameda · 24/09/2012 22:14

If I have to go solo I could go on a montalbano trail to agrigento!

OP posts:
Alameda · 24/09/2012 22:16

(would that be a bit sad?)

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 25/09/2012 07:50

Alameda, posso venire con te a fare il Montalbano Trail?

Alameda · 25/09/2012 08:12

Si! Vorrei! You can explain my knee on the way! Mio ginocchio ma cosa? ginnochia - perché?

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 25/09/2012 08:16

Si, we say:
1 ginocchio
2 ginocchia.
It's irregular plurals (like foot and feet)
We also say:
1 braccio
2 braccia

Alameda · 25/09/2012 08:42

ah I SEE thankyou and my knees are still boys? Mie ginocchia? Or miei?

AnyoneForBeer · 25/09/2012 10:11

buon morning to everyone.

I can cazzagare at work, but don't get time to "play" on computer at home hence, sono qua soltanto di giorno!!!!!

Don't do chiefs!!!! Neither Jamie or Gino. Still cook my mums stew (being irish and all that) Cottage pie and steak and chips!!!! My house is not an Italian food house. Have run out of bisto so mum mym's has to sent me some..........won't survive until Christmas without Bisto!!!

Dh (Bloody Italian driver) avuto un incidente stadale ieri!!!! Colpa sua. He crashed into the rail comming off the motorway. Abbiamo litigato di brutto ieri sera.......Italian bloody driver!!!

Must pretend to work!!!

Alameda · 25/09/2012 10:29

Bongiorno! Yikes! Is he ok?

Molto pleased, italiano class stasera after all (so have wriggled out of date with man hooray) MA is not beginners and probs troppo difficile per me, così Confused

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 25/09/2012 11:46

Alameda, it is:
il mio ginocchio (maschile)
le mie ginocchia (femminile)
weird, I know.

Oh dear Anyone, I hope your dh is ok! How scary!

LaFataTurchina · 25/09/2012 12:01

I hope he's OK too, maybe this'll be a wake up call and he'll drive more carefully in the future?

Ho appena letto quella cosa della signora incinta dal' calamaro - eek! Io adoro I calamari.

Alameda - It wouldn't be sad, mia mamma has a load of pictures from outside Montalbano's house from the last time she went to Sicilly!

Rosa · 25/09/2012 12:28

Stanno filmando Brunetta ...Donna Leon a venezia

AnyoneForBeer · 25/09/2012 12:52

Sta meglio di me, thankyou everyone.
No-one else was involved. he slipped and spun around to face the opposite way and "touched" (his words not mine) the rail on the slip road off the motorway. Translated that means, as usual he was going to fast, breaked and slipped!!! Non impara mai!!!! MAI. He's broken the parafango in 2. Still drivable at the moment. Will have to wait for tredicesima to pay for work. We've just forked out 600 for a new fan belt for my car!!!!

My dh's family are from Sicily.............Speak siciliun but I switch off!!! My son has a few words.....god love him Italian/English and Siciliun!!! We've only been once and I'll never go again. we spent 10 there and made it to a beach once (August so fecking hot and fab for going to the beach). Had to visit all the parente!!!! NEVER AGAIN and my dh agrees!!

Alameda · 25/09/2012 13:58

Grazie Franca, I can finally speak my knee!

and grazie LaFata, if my daughter decides not to come I can indulge myself without shame (and Franca DEVE venire con me!) but otherwise she will not be impressed.

maybe your suocere will adopt me anyone? I will visitare often.

OP posts:
Alameda · 25/09/2012 13:59

suoceri? suocere? Suocera e suocero = ?

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 25/09/2012 14:37

suocero + suocera = suoceri

ex: I miei suoceri amano andare al ristorante. Mia suocera preferisce gli spaghetti, mio suocero la pizza.

I will come Alameda. The Montalbano area is the area I know the least in Sicily, so I'd love to go.
Sto risparmiando per andare qui:

In fact, I'd love to be a travel agent, you know those specialised in off the beaten track tours in small but £££ places Grin

Ti insegno volentieri, l'unico problema è che abito a Milano... non tutti like to spend too much time here Grin (I like it though)

SuoceraBlues · 25/09/2012 19:47
