do I sound like a complete fantasist? I don't usually have a different sex pest every day, this is an unusual level of activity

OP posts:
Annunziata · 30/10/2012 20:40

Oh Alameda :( you must be supremely gorgeous. Did you have a nice day despite that?

Alameda · 30/10/2012 20:48

no no no this is the point, am supremely not gorgeous, plain and plump - so am wondering, do I seem desperate? Low self esteem? it's not a stealth boast! He was a perfect gentleman, just very keen

oh I loved everything - went to benanti winery at viagrande (do you know it?) and another big producer, it was fascinating

sorry to go about adventures with the local schlongi but you did say 'at least go with a sicilian this time' I didn't realize they would be so easy

I AM TURNING INTO SAMANTHA BRICK Shock

OP posts:
Annunziata · 30/10/2012 21:00

Non so Confused forsi asci un amici a gruppa? Almenu era gentleman.

Eeeehhh Viagrande, the iron and wine? Aiu nun statu, no. Sounds lovely :)

Quali babiarri!!! Ma, a Norwegian would just be UFFA!

Annunziata · 30/10/2012 21:00

Samantha Brick? Qui e?

Alameda · 30/10/2012 21:09

I tried to pm you but it didn't work, Samantha brick has delusions of beauty. She writes about how her life is troppo difficile because she is so very stunning (she isn't)!

It doesn't help that I post here after too much local wine, the etna wine especially. Tomorrow I will be mortified Grin

Nun preoccuparti Grin

Dumani, c'e programma? I can bet it will be better than me. Travaggharai tutti matina, e then DD will sulk because sugnu mamma MALI e I am not allowing her to stay over with her friends because she has school the next morning! Uffa.

Alameda · 30/10/2012 21:20

haha, ok it's possible tomorrow will be slightly more enjoyable than that - the 'perfect but very keen gentleman' from oggi sent a message via the b&b owner to ask if I would like to go to taormina on his imbarca domani mattina, invece it might rain

but I went on his boat this evening which is when he dimmed the lights, put on some music and comincia snogging Blush so am not sure. I could go to punta secca and get a photo of montalbano's house but not sure I can be bothered now I'm so close anyway!

OP posts:
Annunziata · 30/10/2012 21:26

M'accanta da so casa! Go, it will be good.

Attentusi! E veru longa a'ri Taormina? But if he seems nice? I don't know, up to you!

Alameda · 30/10/2012 21:31

I'm supposed to be an adult but I have No Idea how to behave. It's exciting, like a miniature holiday romance but he said the exact same things as the scary man just in a nicer way.

Will sleep on it! Spero your daughter isn't too sulky after all tomorrow, buona notta and grazie per all the wise counsel :) x

OP posts:
Annunziata · 30/10/2012 21:33

Aiu sulu dated DH cosi nun idea either Blush

Sogni d'oro, have a good day tomorrow whatever you do :)

Alameda · 31/10/2012 09:43

:) buongiorno, hope everyone is well?

it's raining so heavily, and it will all day, I asked my friendly tourist guide what there is to and where best to go and he suggested - well you can imagine, so we shall see, lunch or this pomeriggio

OP posts:
Annunziata · 31/10/2012 13:41

Ciao a tutti, buon halloween! Piove e fa friddu chi. Che nuiusu.

Francagoestohollywood · 31/10/2012 13:58

Oh no Alameda, another one!
What are you doing today? Such a shame it is raiming... but then I think crap weather all over Italy now Sad

Grigio e freddo anche qui. My mother is going to London tomorrow, she is all geared up for cold weather (told her it won't be colder than here, maybe windier!)

Alameda · 31/10/2012 15:43

No no not another, only 2, one truly scary and one nice but ? tour guide from etna - at least they both bought me dinner! In fact so far all the entertainment, lezione, food has been free in Catania! But they went to same charm school and exact same lines except one a gentleman by Latin standards and one not.

OP posts:
Alameda · 31/10/2012 15:49

anyway sono stufa dei (? ok articolo?) uomini, stasera: arancina catanese for one, vino for one

OP posts:
Alameda · 31/10/2012 16:15

scusa - arancinu or arancina?

OP posts:
Annunziata · 31/10/2012 16:29

One arincinu, two arincini. Non so perche no 'u'. Piogga ha smesso?

Alora, sugnu fair quannu dissi ca DD nun stay over, ma idd'abbiti a 10pm? Teeangers!

Alameda · 31/10/2012 16:57

Grazie! Written 'arancina' but waiter says 'aranshinu' but oh my goodness, I will weigh more than my horse by the weekend! Between the arancini and gli (?) cannoli I won't need dinner!

OP posts:
Alameda · 31/10/2012 17:00

I have never seen such big ones - but that is precisely the sort of exclamation that gets me into difficulty

OP posts:
Annunziata · 31/10/2012 17:03

Pregu :) Quannu vui riturnati home, dignu a recipe (if you would like!).

Ma, vui assaggiati cassata?

Alameda · 31/10/2012 17:11

si si si vorrei - cassata, come cioccolata ? no, usually non mi piace sweet things much but if you recommend I will try!

I thought I was going to die of joy eating this enormous cannoli just now!

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 31/10/2012 17:17

Envy at cannoli & arancini. Cassata is wonderful, but very sweet. My fav in Sicily has to be granita al caffe con panna e brioscia for breakfast!

Alameda, watch out, eh, there are some weather alerts for the whole of Italy!
