can't find anything like it in dictionary :( in the other book it suggests andare a cavallo, like andare in bicicletta + essere

spero fa bello più tardi!

Anch'io!

That is odd. Montare sounds better to me the more I think about it. Confused

Alameda · 13/10/2012 12:12

Vado a cavallo? 'clinging on for dear life' at the moment more like, pregiamo ...

Ciao, la mia schiena va molto meglio oggi.

Oggi qui piove e fa freddo, e io sono già stufa. Vorrei che fosse sempre estate.

Annunziata · 15/10/2012 14:54

Sono felice che tu schiene e meglio! Fa friddu chi anche. E fa nibbiusu sta mattina,

Qualcuno te guardese Malena? La pellicula con Monica Bellucci? Someone gave it me for my mum, but I don't know if it's going to be too much for her.

Annunziata · 15/10/2012 14:55

Forgot my manners: Ciao a tutti, comu stai?

Annunziata · 15/10/2012 14:55

And my punctuation, dear god. My bambini are not at school today, you see what they are doing to me?

Francagoestohollywood · 15/10/2012 15:04
Grin

No, never seen malena... I don't think it is a particularly good film, but I might be confusing it for a different one Grin

Annunziata · 15/10/2012 15:13

It looks terrible to be honest, I think the basic story is 'Monica Bellucci is beautiful' but she'd get upset if there were bombs and Germans. DH has, very kindly, offered to watch it. He says it'd be a terrible problem, but, well, for my mother

LaFataTurchina · 15/10/2012 15:37

Ciao everyone,

Have just looked at the IMDB synopsis for that movie - it sounds a bit, uhm, 'saucy' for want of a better word!

Qui, fa freddissimo oggi, ho su' i jeans, una maglietta, un vestito sopra la maglietta e il golf di lana e ho ancora freddo.

Annunziata · 15/10/2012 15:48

Si, mi penso ce chistu mernu e molto friddu. :(

Apparently the last bit is very upsetting too. I think I'll watch it first.

Francagoestohollywood · 15/10/2012 16:10

It is 10 degrees here, it was 22 just 3 days ago! I am not ready for winter.

I moan a lot in the winter Grin

Annunziata · 15/10/2012 17:20

E una differenza grossu!

Mi penso che tutti moan in winter. It's horrible!

Alameda · 16/10/2012 10:34

Annunziata · 16/10/2012 14:12

Poor Alameda!

My top tip for general healthiness when you feel really blurgh:
Get berocca (which by the way is magical, and has zinc) and instead of dissolving it in water, dissolve it in a big glass of fresh orange juice for extra vit C. If you can't face a pint of berocca at breakfast time drink it with your dinner - multivitamins get absorbed best when had with the main meal of the day.

Alameda · 17/10/2012 12:24

Grazie, am lapping up the sympathy Grin

mi piace MOLTO berocca, is a miracle working substance - never thought of dissolving in oj (bit scared of the calories)
