Seriously, if anyone has any inside knowledge of what is likely or may happen please let me know.

His school nurse is coming in an hour and I may tell her.

Why did I do it? because he's been screaming for 4 hours each day after school, making himself actually vomit with screaming, he's scratching himself up.
He's Autistic, barely verbal.
It's been going on for weeks,I'm sleep deprived, it's not nice for him to be in such a state.
The vallium did help as I knew it would.
It's not his prescription though.

It seemed like the only option.

I'm thinking they may call social services,

The respite situation is shit. I suggest you post on the SN board to see if anyone has some ideas about where you can get some additional support.

We are here too, if chatting to us about things helps a bit.

Please keep on at them, respite is something you clearly need and sadly SS are over budget and over stretched
Do you have any family or friends who can support you?
