In Expats own words last night

"Keep it coming, folks. She NEEDS this miracle*.

There is indeed power in our prayers and hopes and love.....and especially the amount of us lighting candles and taking time to just think about them. On my own part, pretty much everyone I know knows about our prayers for Aillidh....so many people thinking of her.

I pray today for continued strength for Expat, continued love for Aillidh, and continued hugs for Giraffes, who is there with them walking this tightrope and being a true angel.

I don't have anything useful to say, I feel. Just that I hope and pray that Aillidh and her family find the strength to cope with whatever happens, whatever it turns out to be.

Still praying. DS2 is being confirmed next Sunday and our church has been praying every day for Aillidh, ExPat and family, the Bishop has been praying and we will all continue to do so. DS2 has been praying hard and the first thing he has ask every day when he gets home from school is if there has been any news.

I have no words, just prayers for Aillidh and Expat, and huge amounts of compassion for those mothers(and fathers if indeed there have been any) who have been brave enough to post their own experiences here.

Lit a candle in church for all the family. Still praying. Much love.

youarekidding · 07/07/2012 19:54

Dear Lord, Thankyou for keeping Allidh safe and helping her make some signs of improvement. She has been placed in your arms by her parents and it seems you have great plans for this tiny girl. So far she has bought 1000's of people from around the world together in prayer, love and support. Please keep this family safe in your heart and hands.

Amen.

Aillidh - sweetheart, please know what an amazing spirit you are, as gods child you have shown us how strong our faith can be.

StateofConfusion · 07/07/2012 20:03

Aillidh gave me faith, I've always believed in something, never understood or knew what exactly, I just had hope there was more to life, I've always attended family services and told my dc the real meaning to christmasn, but never felt fully 'faithful' when my ds was prem and in nicu, I prayed and begged for him to survive, he's 5 next week. I started to believe, when I lost a baby at 14wks I prayed to stop hurting, I'm now 16wks pregnant due at the time I lost my previous pregnancy, I began to believe some more. But seeing so many people from all over the world, different religions and beliefs, come together and pray, and see improvements in Aillidhs condition just astounds me, and gives me hope and most of all faith (and I'm a cynical grouch pot) so Aillidh, you are a very powerful young lady, you've certainly made an impact on my life, and the lives of many, keep fighting beautiful! And ill keep praying xxx

rhondajean · 07/07/2012 20:08

Thank god she is holding her own. I couldn't light a candle yesterday but it was the festival of San mauro in his village so I prayed to him, and San Giorgio as well. I am not religious but anything that might help.

Keep going all of you x

As A's CRP goes down that shows her antibiotic therapy is working, her chest infection is going so therefore her lungs should start working more efficiently & her oxygen saturations increase which is imperative for her vital organs.

Still very poorly but not giving up!

Keep fighting little terrier you are amazing! xxx
