Our third thread.....this mornings update is such a hopeful and positive one, it is showing just how wonderful and magical the power of love and prayer can be....it is helping Ailidh fight and showing Expat how loved and supported they are.

in case you missed it, this is precious Aillidhs update as of 11am.

Aillidh update: her CRP has dropped from 170 to 90! Her counts . . . are rising! Slight improvement in chest xray. Keep it coming, all, please keep it coming!!xxx

I presume you can still donate????

Jux · 05/07/2012 08:22

Come on, beautiful Aillidh. You can do it. Strength, love to you all.

tempnameswap · 05/07/2012 08:22

Mindyourownbusiness - it just meant that she was on 89% oxygen and had sats in the 70s but then the sats would dip to the 60s and the oxygen would be put back up to 100%. How much oxygen you need to keep your sats up is a sign of how things are progressing, although tbh as someone else said, neither 60s/70s are a good situation to be in.

Keeping believing though, and sending love and strength. You are my first thought in the mornings too..

Shirazyum · 05/07/2012 08:27

She survived the night! Praise be to God! Sats still low, in the 60s on 89% O, but she is here, all, she is here. Please continue helping her. She is surrounded by those who love her. Where there is life, there is hope and we must hold fast for now.

Good Morning Aillidh , as always you are in my thoughts, sending you love and strength, keep on fighting , you can do this lots of love

Lougle · 05/07/2012 09:01

Mind, the air we breathe has 24% oxygen. We would expect a healthy person to be 98-100% 'saturated' by that 24% oxygen.

A is having 89% oxygen, but it is only saturating her blood by 60-70%.

The numbers are a bit irrelevant, the basic message is that she isn't getting enough oxygen, despite breathing almost pure oxygen.

grinningbee · 05/07/2012 09:03

Continuing to send my xxx's. It's weird. My dc are currently throwing epic tantrums, and I'm sitting here feeling grateful that they can. Here's hoping A is throwing epic strops very soon Smile

StateofConfusion · 05/07/2012 09:06

Well done Aillidh. Knew you could do it girl, now let's keep going, hour by hour, day by day, let's get you home and living life xxx

TimeForLunch · 05/07/2012 09:10

hold off on donating for now...not sure if giraffes managed to sort everything out but the paypal had a hissy fit the other day and she asked to stop until sorted.....if that makes sense??

cake....updating can be done by anyone here, honestly :-). I do it when I come on as my posts are highlighted and so easy to spot if scrolling through, but I also have RL going here, so it helps to know I have many of you holding my back (so to speak) if I am in RL. so thankyou Smile
