I have been on MN long enough to go into the old timers board. But who are the new timers, who keeps this forum going??

Lets face it, Mumsnet would'nt be going anymore without the 'new timers'.

So I for one would like to start a 'New Timers' Thread. You have to have been on here more than 6 months to join.

Perhaps someone else would like to do the other.....Under 6 months

I have been here for about 2 years. Does that make me a mid-timer?

Bomper · 21/02/2006 13:57

I have been on here from about September last year!! Feels like a lot longer!!

zippitippitoes · 21/02/2006 13:59

JackieNo · 21/02/2006 13:59

I've been on here from about September 05, but as JackieNo since November 05. Still lurk more than I post, though (I like to think - but I may be kidding myself).

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2006 14:01

I'm coming up to my first birthday on here (I think around 2nd March or something...)

welshboris · 21/02/2006 14:05

Before Christmas I suppose.

The thread about sausage rolls and the man who kept disappearing in the morning kept me hooked

Twiglett · 21/02/2006 14:06

who cares?

arf

JonesTheSteam · 21/02/2006 14:06

Been here since June last year, but it seems longer - I think I lurked for about a year before that!!!!!!

WigWamBam · 21/02/2006 14:08

I've been here for about 16 months ... it just feels like I've been here much, much longer!

zippitippitoes · 21/02/2006 14:09

is that all wwb I thought you been here longerr?

ambercat · 21/02/2006 14:11

Been here since august 05 but tend to lurk as am easily intimidated

WigWamBam · 21/02/2006 14:12

No, only since October 2004 ... I just post a lot, that's all!

CoolTurkey · 21/02/2006 14:45

Since August 2005 though have only just started to contribute.
It was the kissing with tongues thread that really got me hooked. It should have carried a health warning - trying to cackle silently with every one else asleep was more than flesh and blood could stand. Also the Madonna's bat-wings thread. I haven't laughed so much for a long time.

CoolTurkey · 21/02/2006 14:46

Wish I had chosen a different name though.

harrogatemum · 21/02/2006 14:47

since early 2005

spursmum · 21/02/2006 14:48

I started posting in May last year. I used to lurk over Misdee's shoulder!!

mummygow · 21/02/2006 14:48

i've been here since end 2002 but have come and gone and back again - what does this make me (I sound like a yoyo) ha ha

Lio · 21/02/2006 14:52

Aah, happy birthday flamesparrow!

BettySpaghetti · 21/02/2006 14:53

I've been posting for about 6 months or so (was previously called hornbag) but also lurked for a while before that, as long ago as 3 years!

7777777 · 21/02/2006 15:19

just before xmas, found it by accident and got hooked

HenniPenni · 21/02/2006 15:25

About a year now but used to be kcemum

Greensleeves · 21/02/2006 15:41

So hang on... this is for "new timers" but you have to have been here more than 6 months? I'm confused.
