I have been on MN long enough to go into the old timers board. But who are the new timers, who keeps this forum going??

Lets face it, Mumsnet would'nt be going anymore without the 'new timers'.

So I for one would like to start a 'New Timers' Thread. You have to have been on here more than 6 months to join.

Perhaps someone else would like to do the other.....Under 6 months

I am turning into a complete geek as i've actually found it quite interesting finding out when people joined and for a lot it's not really been as i would have expected

DumbledoresGirl · 21/02/2006 18:24

I am astonished to learnt hat some people I thought were old established hands when I joined actually joined after me.

spacecadet · 21/02/2006 18:26

oopps, stupid me, i dont know what was number one when i was born either.

spacecadet · 21/02/2006 18:27

whats everyone having for dinner tonight??

WigWamBam · 21/02/2006 18:27

I didn't realise you'd changed your name LM/DG ... I wondered who DG was!

DumbledoresGirl · 21/02/2006 18:28

Oh SC there was a thread about it the other day (and that is surely the third I remember since joining MN). Someone provides a link, you put in your DOB and up comes the answer.

For me, it was the Beatles with I Feel Fine which I always find quite ironic as I usually don't (feel fine).

zippitippitoes · 21/02/2006 18:28

I changed my name in september and i thought i wouldn't get bakc into posting but I just carried on albeit as a complete unknown

DumbledoresGirl · 21/02/2006 18:29

Well, WWB, it is hard to make an announcement about it because hlaf the time, no-one who knows me would see it so I thought I would just let it filter through.

Sometimes I go back to Lonelymum, just for old time's sake.

CarolinaMoon · 21/02/2006 18:31

started lurking about a year ago. Finally plucked up the courage to post a few months later. Still not in any kind of clique .

WigWamBam · 21/02/2006 18:31

I get terribly confused with all these name changes ... poor old confused brain can't handle it

zippitippitoes · 21/02/2006 18:33

spacecadet · 21/02/2006 18:34

oh DG think i will have to google now to find out!

DumbledoresGirl · 21/02/2006 18:36

Come back and tell us SC! Then we can guess your age!

Sorry, I didn't want to be DG, I was happy with LM, but the pressure got to me in the end!

spacecadet · 21/02/2006 18:36

WigWamBam · 21/02/2006 18:36
