Following on from the truly skint thread I bet there are lots of us with things we have that we would be prepared to send to those who are really struggling. I don't want to insult anyone by offering things but at the same time I want to help if I can. I have boys clothes and shoes up to age 5 and black school trousers age six. Pm me. Anyone else have anything

Marking my place to have a sort out at the weekend, and post some items for others.

I'm just wondering if anything can be posted? I'm fairly certain I have quite a few pairs of trainer socks that DSS decided were far to boring for him to wear more than once etc, and they may be off use to someone.

Will look more later.

Also, it might be worth reminding everyone that every Mumsnet Local has a Nearly New board where folks are most welcome to offer stuff for free to other MNers who live nearby.

Oh I've just remembered I have about 6 pairs of football boots 3(I think) size 2/3 and another 3 I think are 6-7 (sorry at work do can't check, will do later)
Also at least 1 pair AstroTurf boots in each of those sizes and boys shorts aged 7 and 12.
There may be a couple of waterproofs in those sizes.

Also anyone in Winchmore hill, north London if you need boys or girls Winchmore uniform I have that too, girls yr9 size boys yr 8 including tie and blazer (but blazer needs a little seam sewn up and I don't sew!)

I have the 'no cry sleep solution' book if anyone would like it?

I know it's not an essential but a bad nights sleep is the last thing you need if you're having a hard time!

I have girls clothes, 9-12 months. They are Summery stuff, but dd hardly wore them last year. Mostly h&m I think.
I'm in Ireland, but don't think postage would be that much, not more than ?5 probably. Nobody wanted them on the local board

What does everyone need? I have cupboards of things that could be useful and so does my MIL who would be more than happy to donate things to people in need.
