Following on from the truly skint thread I bet there are lots of us with things we have that we would be prepared to send to those who are really struggling. I don't want to insult anyone by offering things but at the same time I want to help if I can. I have boys clothes and shoes up to age 5 and black school trousers age six. Pm me. Anyone else have anything

Busy week and I will be getting the cot duvet and the single covers off asap.

I have three cot bed sheets (cream) and two pram sheets - free to a good home. I think the sheets are Mamas and Papas or Mothercare.

Sorry should think before I post! I also have a navy kids cagoul aged 3-4 years and a pair of white 'sketchers' style shoes from Brantano in a size 1 for a girl - have pink and gold on them. hardly worn.

Any childrens books going spare would mean the world to us. I will obviously pay postage. I have a 2yo DS who is a real book worm !

Are there any pregnant women who live in/near Durham here?

I recently took part in a '100 women in birth' project where I had to answer questions on my pregnancies and labours. As a thank you I received a voucher from a doula based in Durham that entitles me to a free 30 minute clarity or healing/relaxation session with her.

I am too far away to take advantage of this so would love to send it to someone having a rough time at the mo

navy trousers have gone, still have the age 14 navy school skirt.

Has anyone got any women's shorts in a size 12? This heat is killing me and I don't have any summery stuff at all, spent most of my clothing on dds stuff, its a silly ask but I figure you never know!

I also have a pair of black 34W, 31L, Florence and Fred school trousers that have a good bit of wear left in them. Freakishly oversized teen DS has outgrown them, again.

I have a pair of toddler girls buckle up jelly sandals in size 6, pink with strawberry on them, hardly worn, pm me if you need them

Also have a Columbia age 8 boys winter jacket, blue and a kind of browny grey colour. Has been worn but still in v. good condition.

16 month old DS is book-mad but starting to get out of the all baby picture/one word books we have and into proper stories so if anyone has any lying around, they'd be much appreciated!

I have been collecting kids books for 22 years but all of mine are too old now for little kid books, so I have a fair few to go round.

As I was on my way to the post office this afternoon my lovely neighbour asked about my parcels, and she is going to have a sort for me, she's not on MN herself but thought what an excellent idea this was. Bless her. She is hopefully going to pop some stuff round later.
