My mum would be able to have ds 1/2 days a week, SDs mum would be able to help out and i also have someone else that has offered but TBH would rather ds was with only 1 of them ie my mum for 1/2 days and the rest of the time at a creche/childminders mixing with other LOs. Hate the thought of him being pushed from pillar to post. Only other option is to do nights, which I've done before at uni but dont think i could possibly do now.

now you are talking i would just buy prams and clothes all day long, dont understand the people that win it then say it ruins their lives, or when they carry on working!

like i said, i did 6 months of 4 12 hour nite shifts a week, was very very tiring and really dont think i could do that now, especially with a young kid to look after.

one of my dads v good friends won 3 1/s million 4 years ago. He is happy, opened his own business, bought a bigger house, has a little nest egg for his kids, has saved some, and has given some to his friends. WHen my mum fell ill, he gave my dad some £ and told him it was for a holiday for us to go on. He's not deluded still a v grounded man.

my best pals sis works for camelot and says that smae people have won vast amoutns on more than 1 occasion. how selfish is that!!!

no that was my shift pattern, 4 on 4 off then commuting to brighton in the day, do not ask about sleep i just snatched it at work!

yeah, well selfish, why carry on playing once they already won a big amount? i havent even won a tenner for ages

even though i wasnt actually getting less sleep when i was doing nites, it seemed like i was as i found it really hard to sleep during the day, i kept getting distracted by the phone/telly/computer.
i would love to get a job where i could take lani with me, that would be ideal.

yes working nights mucks up the system completely, have you thought about childminding? any news on whether you're going to be evicted?

am gonna log off im exhausted. my whole body aches from walking up and down oxford street. will speak tomorrow

def meet up in march unless we get the same casting, that would be fab

still no news on the eviction, fingers crossed we will be ok! im sure at some point we will be at the same casting as they are only weeks apart in age, but am still def up for meeting up in march.

Morning all,
we have had to cancel IK for 2moro Reece is too poorly and Im not dragging him anywhere bless him. They arent 100% sure if its chicken pox but poor little angel is suffering. Hes gone to MIL's today no matter how poorly he is she has him cos she said he will be happy once he's there! just let her get on with it now! LOL

izzy, how long did it take for the photo session? i am trying to get dd3 to keep her socks on as her feet will freeze out there, but its not happening.

Cyan > No not heard anything either but I reckon that they would need to decide today as the agencies would have to get licenses sorted. I hope they let us know either way - I am not too hopeful as there are a lot of babies to choose from. Did you get the impression it was a TV commercial rather than a photographic commercial???
I keep telling myself 12 weeks will fly by and to think of the money!!!

yackerty> think they would have to let us know v soon cos of the licenses, the agency told me to get everything ready in case he was picked. am not holding out either if they were 60 + kids there.

can i just have a moan v quickly?! just spoken to my mum and to cut a long story short, my mums sis who has a Lo 3 mths older than ds has been moaning about the fact my mum spends more time with me than with her. am a bit cheesed off.
