lanismum i think its hilarious!!! shame about lanis casting, little monkey walking after you put the phone down!

allie, it was for a magazine and TBH their reponse just annoyed me v patronising. however have an interview with cnn on fri for their internship which can lead to some freelance work for them so am looking forward to that, well if i get picked that is not the interview.

cyan · 21/02/2006 20:56

cyan · 21/02/2006 20:59

no not heard from GOSH that closed on Fri so prob still looking at applications. wouldnt mind that job as would prob b v rewarding, dont mean money you know what i mean!! is it true they have a creche on site?

yackertyyack · 21/02/2006 20:59

Cyan >I reckon 60 must be about right as when they showed me their list it looked like they were seeing about 10+ babies for each 'band'! God knows what they look for when they cast that sort of thing - just think its luck. Did they say it would be about a 3 hour shoot!!! Imagine keeping them entertained for that long!!!
Allie> I am sure that AK will still get your DD work - they don't make money by not putting her foward.

lanismum · 21/02/2006 21:02

gosh does have a staff nursery, its not on site, but only across the road, but it is quite expensive if i remember rightly, with quite a long waiting list, or at least did have a few years ago when i was there.

night! hope he's ok bless im

cyan · 21/02/2006 21:08

nah they didnt say much, the guy in the stripey top kept saying that i needed to chill out and relax!? i then explained about my day, and i think he then got the message that i was exhausted! they were both v nice photographer and assistant.

i reckon by the time we got there they prob couldnt be bothered to run through it all again! no i just didnt ask, had the impression it would be a quick turnaround as the agency said if ds is picked would need a license, and shoots next week.
nope didnt say that it would be 3 hours long.

agree think that its going to be pure luck on this one as if the kids are wearing wigs, i dont think looks are will be priority ,maybe more a personality/directability thing? hope that makes sense xx

yackertyyack · 21/02/2006 21:09

lanismum · 21/02/2006 21:14

gosh is a very nice place to work, after i left outpatients i worked on a few different wards for 6 months, mainly nights, but have to say i couldnt do it now, as i couldnt earn enough money to pay for childcare.

OP posts:
cyan · 21/02/2006 21:16

childcare is a major issue, which is why i sometimes think id be better off winning the lottery and doing sod all.
