Izzy... I think they probably will say no as I think someone else on here had a no today and I think they applied a couple of days ago ( sorry if I have just got that wrong )

Congrats to allie, lets hope interview goes well... keep us up to date.

Hi mythumberlinas..how are you today? I work for an airline as a Customer Services Duty Manager (part time) so unfortunately sick days full stop don`t go down well. Have you seen any jobs that take your fancy?

Ahh thorntons sorry to hear your little one's poorly - my little man had that last week and he slept ALL day and was feeling really sorry for himself! Its horrible seeing them ill isn't it. Hope she is up and about soon!! We did mothercare in Nov and didn't have a casting so they may still use her!

Yackerty..thanks very much for dd`s get well wishes! Good for you re Mothercare and no casting involved,fabulous! Did they use his pics? We have been spoilt too as last few jobs no casting involved.

Sounds like an interesting job u have, thorntons. My dh called me 7am today to say he's finally arrived at his destination!! I dropped him off for airport at 7am on Tuesday! 2nd leg of his journey was cancelled and he was put up in hotel to be given next available flight .. had to wait over 24hrs!! That's why he will be returning later than expected. Was wondering whether to call up airline for compensation

As to finding a p/t job .. anything that will fit around housework, 2 kids, schooling, dance classes and sunday school .. am willing to work evenings .. i'm a night owl anyway

Hi Mythumberlinas..Your poor dh. Which airline ? Yes he may be entitled to compensation (EU ruling ) Have a look on airline website for Customer Relations no and email/call them.
Main perk of my job is flexibility and travel concessions can generally work when dh off re childcare.Hope you find something that fits in with your already v busy schedulex

B&B have just said no to ds! Never mind still pleased to be with MOT and meeting up with IK next week.

allie great news! MOT will def want your ds i think the interview is just a formality.

Sarah,nevermind ! MOT are very reputable and a fab agency by the sounds of it! Mind boggles how agencies pick and choose,lots of factors involved.DD was turned down by MOT and accepted by B and B!!

hi all,blimey, just got in from work, loadsa messages on here! i sent ds pic to MOT last night, theyve replied saying wana see him for interview, are they in hertfordshire?thats the address on the email, do they charge and are they sole agent

allie, just read the thread, are you going for the interview with ds? my mum reckons itl be too far for me, train to victoria and loads more or driving very long way round m25 so dont quite know wot to do, il check later for message gota pop out now

7s, i have interview with them on tues,im coming from Brighton,and yes its a bit of a trek,but you only have to do it once,i also have to get oxford,which takes 3 hrs and my dd is train sick.
They are such a good agency though,you wont regret it

Rail,its easier,train to victoria.underground to euston(victoria line,4 stops)train from euston to berkhamsted,at which point have to get taxi for 5 minute journey, when is your interview and where are you coming from?

im in maidstone,kent, havent rung to ask for date for interview yet until i came on here and i find out exactly how to get there, im a bit of a panicky traveller, only because i dont travel far but i need to do it more
