Just wondering as many people I see claim to have been, is it that widespread?

piano. this link will explain it all beautifully to you.

Again, I agree with Fellatio I'm careful with what I say about my extended family (even worded that carefully!) as I think I'm easily identifiable if anyone in RL knows me. The kittens were such a story in RL as no-one had ever raised kittens themselves that everyone seemed to contact me to add support and come and see them/ask after them. Which is lovely! And I guess as my MN persona is based around my kittens (I was a ghost poster beforehand), you could easily link the two, if you could be bothered too.

That said, I don't mind, for the reasons the wonderful Fell says. Hence I keep the kittens in my name and on my pictures - I say nothing on here I wouldn't say in RL and I don't use MN as a release - I use it as an online community of like-minded, witty women to drop in, have a chat and a laugh, offer a shoulder to cry on when needed and that's that. I'm the same in RL as I am on MN, hence also why I'm friends offboard on fb with a few MNers too.

I'm waffling now :o

Ah,, now i see what a troll is. Thank you Thumbwitch. Yes I have suffered the arrows of trolls on here recently, to the point that i am so totally disheartened with this site, after many years being here. I am somewhat sad that people can be so unkind and cruel. My only confession I have to put my hands up to was winding up some horribly rude and spiteful folk who said i was a snobby bitch simply cos I said i thought swearing was common . In retort I said "Yes, I am!" All hell broke loose and I was rounded up on. The banter that thereafter continued was the most ridiculous garbage i have ever read; with everyone swearing, being rude/cocky, and sounding like teenagers. At 52 yrs I cant be doing with it....

Swearing on here is therapeutic piano. It's here or at DH and the kids since swearing at work is a sackable offence especially if you swear at the customers. If it wasn't for MN I would explode. I am common, tho. Wink

Yes I can see/understand this...
It must be me in the minority .....I just dont like to swear on line....

KatieScarlett2833 · 19/08/2011 16:25

It's not compulsory piano. If you knew me in RL you would never know my secret joy is swearing on a forum and how vociferously I can defend my right to do so. I spend all day being super worker/mother/daughter, etc so indulging my childishness here is fun to me. It's not for you and I see that, but doesn't mean I am/you are a bad person, IYSWIM?
