Oh Tethers. Massive memory surge about The Phantom Tollbooth, which I had forgotten; I can totally recall with perfect clarity reading it in bed when i was little and laughing to myself. My dad had sent it to me from America. It was great.

I'm so glad you (kind of) mentioned it. I must buy a copy, think my old one is somewhere in the USA with my little brothers.

I got called troll once when I was having a heated debate and I hadn't revealed what I did for a living which was where my information was coming from (lawyer) - I wasn't the OP so didn't feel I was dripfeeding but didn't feel like busting in on the thread to say hey I'm a lawyer because didn't think necessary - it was a far more general debate - I was coming at it from a legal angle - ended up PMing two of the troll accusers and had to practically give them my CV but they were v gracious. Third troll accuser was just too pissed off at having been pulled up on his/her views and so carried on despite the other two publicly backing off on the thread - s/he was left without backup but just kept digging. Was rather amusing.
