Yes, after the worst 6 months of my life. I have a proper date with a man. Yep, I'm excited!

Met him last night at my neighbours and he texted this morning after asking them for my number!

Well ... I had a great night!!

He was very gentlemanly and that was a nice change. Had a few drinks in town and then went for dinner where we just chatted non-stop. He even ordered champagne in the restaurant! Did NOT get drunk though.

Ended up out until about 230 when I got a taxi home and it was all good. Had a bit of a kiss as I went into taxi and he's coming round this morning to help me with my Xmas tree.

I am happy!!!

We went for lunch today and he's just gone home as dd due home soon. Asked me if I wanted to go to New York next week for some pre-xmas shopping. His treat. How did I ever get this lucky?? I feel on top of the world today! I didn't say yes to the trip, by the way, I said I'd think about it

I wouldn't tell dd anything. She is with her dad next week anyway. As for the sex thing - well, I wouldn't mind some either so it's not fair to think that's all he's after. But,you're right, it's the committment thing that's scary.
