I want to be by the sea but then the seaside is full of tourists and in winter it's bleak. Think I'll say the USA Florida in Winter, Rockies or Virginia in Summer.

With a lottery win under my belt....Dublin

Lonelymum · 04/11/2005 13:35

Either Winchester where I grew up and my parents still live, or Cornwall where my heart feels at peace.

FatherCoolOfHMCommonwealth · 04/11/2005 13:35

Hull. I love the smell of death.

ssd · 04/11/2005 13:36

I'd live near Carmel on the 17 mile drive overlooking the ocean. Went there in 1995 on holiday fly drive from San Fransisco to san Diego and it was fab........

Would need a serious lottery win first!!

ssd · 04/11/2005 13:37

Fimbo come and live with us in Glasgow!!

kleggie · 04/11/2005 13:38

Remotest Scotland. Preferably an island.

FatherCoolOfHMCommonwealth · 04/11/2005 13:39

Carmel is lovely and yes you would need a HUGE lottery win for that one... it don't beat Hull though

teeavee · 04/11/2005 13:39

hausfrau! is it really that awful where you are?

LadySherlockofLGJ · 04/11/2005 13:40

Turk and Caicos islands any of u been there?

teeavee · 04/11/2005 13:43

I do love it here ggg, but dp is out of work atm , with very little prospects in his field unless we move to a big city (Paris. Nantes..) which we don't really want to do. So, we might move back to Wales next year, and think about re-establishing ourselves there.
I love both - that's why it's so bloody difficult!
