Me:

Ecover multi-purpose cleaner in a spray bottle thingy (for cleaning kitchen surfaces and table) - never use anything else.

Yorkshire Tea.

Persil washing powder.

Lurpak butter.

Anything else I will experiment with, but those are my constants.

SaorAlba · 11/10/2010 10:06

Me:
Heinz Ketchup
Kenco Coffee
Vosene Shampoo
Sanex Shower Gel

DP:
Heinz Beans
Nambarrie Tea

Generally I am happier to try supermarket own brands or cheap versions than DP is, but not for any of the above.

SaorAlba · 11/10/2010 10:07

Oh, Sure deodorant too.

DiscoSquish · 11/10/2010 10:11

Err yes Apple I scoffed for ages, then bought a 4 iphone thingy and I love it. Now I finally understand what they were all ranting about. It Is Brilliant.

AbsofCroissant · 11/10/2010 10:12

After years and years, the only products I always buy are:

  • kerastase shampoo and conditioner (for my rubbish hair. It has never been so silky)
  • Eve Lom facial cleanser
  • Dr Palmers cocoa butter

Everything else - I go for the cheapest available (so I can afford the Eve Lom and Kerastase).

Unprune · 11/10/2010 10:14

Oh yes Vosene.
We used it when we were kids, too. It's great. Saves choosing from 234648795164 shampoos on the rack.

squirrel42 · 11/10/2010 10:17

Fairy Liquid
Lush Henna for hair dyeing purposes

Umm... that's pretty much it! I'm a supermarket own brand annd value/basics kind of gal when it comes to brands; I put more stock in things like welfare standards for eggs/meat and locality.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 11/10/2010 10:18

Lavazza for espresso
Fairy liquid
Lurpak
Heinz ketchup (not beans, prefer Waitrose)
Waitrose and John Lewis
Twinings
Schwepps tonic
Bombay Sapphire gin

Bobbi Brown makeup
No.7 skincare

yy to whoever said that Waitrose chocolate digestives are much better (and about half the price) of McVities.

wildstrawberryplace · 11/10/2010 10:22

Heinz ketchup and beans
Andrex
Dorset Muesli
Cravendale milk
E cloths
Total greek yogurt

Twinings Earl Grey
Nairns oatcakes
DIM pants

FindingMyMojo · 11/10/2010 10:26

given the choice I'll buy Ecover clothes wash (all the others stink to me) and Vogels bread (but it's so often out of stock I have to buy other poor alternatives).

Apart from that I wouldn't describe myself as a loyal customer at all. I have fav's but will try stuff on special without any issue.

MaudOHara · 11/10/2010 11:16

DH - vosene, andrex, original source lemon shower gel

Me - Mitchum deodorant [sweaty]

Mostly buy Waitrose own brand everything courtesy of Ocado

FellatioNelson · 11/10/2010 11:36

I forgot Fairy washing up liquid

DastardlyandSmugly · 11/10/2010 11:41

First Direct - used to work for them, know how well trained they are and how concerned they are about customer service.

Illy coffee - the best

Fairy liquid

Klennex Quilted Double Velvet toilet tissue

M&S 400 thread count bed linen

John Lewis - DH and I made a concious decision never to use places like Comet again and always use JL

Maldon Salt

Kirkdale (CostCo) kitchen roll - there really is nothing as good on the market

Coca Cola

Barefoot wine (this is my DH's brand Wink)

Cadburys
Fairy non-bio
Pampers

PoorlyConstructed · 11/10/2010 11:48

Apple is like a religion. You either subscribe to it or you think those who do are nuts.

Also, I have a completely irrational dislike of any supermarket that isn't sainsbos and feel resentful if I'm forced to shop in one.
