Me:

Ecover multi-purpose cleaner in a spray bottle thingy (for cleaning kitchen surfaces and table) - never use anything else.

Yorkshire Tea.

Persil washing powder.

Lurpak butter.

Anything else I will experiment with, but those are my constants.

OP posts:

Colegate.
I have never had a filling & I entirely put it down to using Colegate my whole life.

Bucharest · 11/10/2010 08:17

blue lenor, the original one that came out about 25 yrs ago. The smell is perfect.

Marmite marmite.

Clarins Instant Smooth foundation (only discovered it 18mths ago, but am now evangelical and don't think will ever use anything else)

Yorkshire Tea.

Marks and Spencer's Brie. Everyone else's Brie (except for proper brought-over-from-French-France brie of course) is never ripe enough and tastes of soap. M and S's is just per-fick.

Bucharest · 11/10/2010 08:18

Oh, and blue nivea (the gloopy original stuff) for winter skin.

Aveeno for dd's skin.

Lurpak

Marmite

Clinique Clarifying lotion - the rest of my skincare routine has changed through the years but have been using this for toner for 17 years

Marks and Spencer's underwear

As a Yorkshire lass, it has to be Henderson's Relish rather than Worcestershire Sauce - it is very similar, a local thing (and not that it matters to me, but it vegetarian)

Meglet · 11/10/2010 09:03

Marmite

The brand I really don't like and don't have any of is Apple because they're so smug. Am probably cutting off my nose to spite my face but I can't stand their adverts and all the bloody Apple obsessives.

MiniMilk0610 · 11/10/2010 09:09

I have no brand loyalty [wail!!] Grin
Just read through everyone's answers and nothings triggered any loyalties of my own...I just buy whatever's cheapest/on offer... MiniMilk ponders whether her taste buds are completely shot or she's just really skint!! Grin

However I wouldnt by supermarket/cheapy versions of spirits, so buy 'proper' Pimms, Vodka etc...but as we can't afford to buy them at the moment anyway its not really an issue! :)

I'm often pleasantly surprised by how good supermarket own versions are. We have a lidl up the road from us and their veg, bread, smoked salmon, chorizo etc is really good. I do tend to get branded stuff for toothpaste, washing up liquid & yoghurts but just get whichever brand is on offer when I need them.

naturebaby nappies (no pampers here!)
lea and perrins

dh insists in janina toothpaste

i thought i had many more - must be a brand slut after all!

SanctiMoanyArse · 11/10/2010 09:19

Hmmm, skin and clothes

Olay seven day wonder, the one everyone here had issues with during the test including me- I stuck with it (due to poverty and needing a moisturiser LOL) and it's come good: skin now better than it has been in years and you can always find it on offer somewhere

Undies- Ann Summers, but not the interesting ranges, I am an odd size and they fit.

Clarks shoes as I have diffferent sized legs (glam, no?) and the active range helped me not need a walking stick

When am cashed up (not ATM, then) Monsoon and Per Una. Just suits me.

anonymousbird · 11/10/2010 09:20

Fairy liquid
Heinz tomato ketchup
Skinners dog food
Acuvue contact lenses - the cheaper ones are truly shit and bad for your eyes
Persil - a recent conversion

messylittlemonkey · 11/10/2010 09:22

Heinz beans
Colgate toothpaste

Think that's it. I am prepared to be persuaded by anything else. Having said that, I tend to be reasonably loyal to the following:

Flora spread
HP sauce (brown)
McCain Homefries
Senseo coffee pods

MrsDinky · 11/10/2010 09:25

Branston pickle
ecover spray
marmite
activia yogurts
Heinz ketchup
Fairy liquid, although have just been lured away by the smell of Waitrose Basil and Cucumber washing upliquid

wubblybubbly · 11/10/2010 09:26

Other than First Direct I can honestly say I buy whatever offers the best value. Beggars can't be choosers and all that Grin
