Me:

Ecover multi-purpose cleaner in a spray bottle thingy (for cleaning kitchen surfaces and table) - never use anything else.

Yorkshire Tea.

Persil washing powder.

Lurpak butter.

Anything else I will experiment with, but those are my constants.

Oh God, I forgot Apple. That's hand in hand with Yorkshire Tea for utter essentialness.

SylvanianFamily · 11/10/2010 12:00

Nivea face cream. Loyalty that goes through three generations of women in my family. No one uses anything else.

It's a bit sad we're all going for non-British butter. What's wrong with our butter? I admit to using Lurpak too as finding unsalted English butter is hard.

LittlebearH · 12/10/2010 15:20

ecover - multi purpose spray brilliant!
dishwasher tabs too and loo cleaner ;-)
Nature baby nappies are good, I do keep buying them, but tesco pull ups are very good value - no leaks, comfy looking and cheap (and none of those weird little crystal things that pampers and huggies seem to have that irritate my sons skin..)
heinz beans in those new little pots, very good
Love doves farm cereals and biscuits
rachels organic things
alpro!! we all love it ;-) especially the chocolate one!

Stillcounting · 12/10/2010 15:28

It's still going strong!!!

Marmite
Petit Bateau
Twinings
Vanish stain sticks (only the sticks mind!)

and sorry - at risk of offending 50% of posters on this thread - disagree about Heinz Baked Beans - since living abroad find them horribly sweet compared with home grown varieties (they must pile in the sugar)

I love Nars things, Bobbi brown - excellent stuff, cheaper alternative is barbara daly at tesco - really nice natural mineral eyeshadows.
LOVE lancome and Dior foundations - and of course Chanel (but bourjous cheaper and very good alternative)
Origins pinch your cheeks keep buying that, and the mother of all products, the blessed golden pen that conceals and heals dark circles and bags after months of no sleep - my hero..Touche Eclat ;-);-);-) I am never without it xx

pickledbabe · 12/10/2010 15:50

Heinz Tomato Ketchup
Tetley Tea Bags
Vaseline Intensive Care moisturiser

Kellogg's for cereals that aren't Weetabix
Fairy Liquid
Cadbury's chocolate
Marigold Swiss Bouillion Powder.
Lil-lets

most other things, I will use whatever I fancy at the time - but I really miss having a proper Co-op, because if I did, I wouldn't use any other shop. (we have a little 7-11-type co-op and it's just not got the stuff in it)
(and I wouldn't use vaseline, then, I'd use Co-op baby lotion)

ornamentalcabbage · 12/10/2010 16:18
