Bollocks to that.

5inthebed · 21/07/2010 18:14

But then I'd never see DH!

pregnantteen · 21/07/2010 18:18

5inthebed · 21/07/2010 18:20

I refer you to [[http://www.mumsnet.com/info/acronyms here]. You might want to brush up on your MN acronyms before you start posting again

5inthebed · 21/07/2010 18:20

Here. You might want to learn to do links as well

pregnantteen · 21/07/2010 18:21

why thank you :D

OP posts:
DaisyFields · 21/07/2010 18:28

Fuck yeah!

pregnantteen · 21/07/2010 19:45

may i ask a question?
why do people find the need to swear?

OP posts:
southeastastra · 21/07/2010 19:46

cause they're right common

usualsuspect · 21/07/2010 19:46

I never fucking swear

pregnantteen · 21/07/2010 19:47

do you agree with me southeastastra?

OP posts:
colditz · 21/07/2010 19:48

Nobody has a need to swear, they have a desire to swear.

Did you know that CUNT used to be considered the polite, delicate term for a lady's 'parts'?

usualsuspect · 21/07/2010 19:49

SEA is a lady

pregnantteen · 21/07/2010 19:50

yer its pretty raw though right?
i mean i hear loads of girls/ladies saying that about men.

but why would you say that to a guy when it is a term for ladies parts?

OP posts:
pregnantteen · 21/07/2010 19:51

so are u saying that there are few ladies and alot of common ????

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 21/07/2010 19:53

I hear hooves on the bridge. Quick ladies, grab your fiery pitchforks!

RhinestoneCowgirl · 21/07/2010 19:53

I spend my whole day holding my tongue in front of the children.

Fuck it now tho, they're in bed!

ShirleyKnot · 21/07/2010 19:54

I find it all disgusting to be honest. I really believe that swearing indicates poor education or a severe lack of moral fibre.

I say forget getting swearers and blasphemers to sweep the streets; they should be roundly thrashed. Especially the women.

Longtalljosie · 21/07/2010 19:59

I have always believed in the importance of finding the apposite word for the occasion.

And sometimes that word is fuck.

You may discover this for yourself shortly if that pregnancy is your first.

pregnantteen · 21/07/2010 20:10

may i take the time to show you this please?
and then may i ahve your thought! and if you have the time look at the kids who are being racist, with olders there laughing and helping them out

OP posts:
Quality · 21/07/2010 20:18

Sometimes a situation calls for a good Fuck though.

ShirleyKnot · 21/07/2010 20:18

What the Jeff?

Quality · 21/07/2010 20:21

Well quite obviously that is horrifying. I try really, really hard not to swear in front of my children, and apologise if I do so they know it is wrong, but the fact that someone has sworn so much in front of their chidl that they can speak like that doesn't mean that I can't swear.

secunda · 21/07/2010 20:23

It's very lower-middle class to get all het up about swearing

tiredandgrouchy · 21/07/2010 20:26

Pregnantteen, wouldn't your time be better spent thinking of ways to tell your imaginary parents about your imaginary pregnancy?
No?
