Episode 34 - The Tearoom moves to New England

At this time of year New England is famous for its glorious foliage as billions of leaves change from green to a kaleidoscope of colours. The air is crisp and cool ? perfect for hiking, biking or a drive along back roads, where farm stands are piled high with crunchy apples and orange pumpkins.

Everyone is welcome. There are tea, cakes and wine aplenty so pull up a comfortable chair and join us.

The usual rule applies - no fisticuffs please!

All good. At the end the lovely sonographer told me that all he saw was a bunch of tiny cysts, so nothing to worry about, and then smiled and said "but I didn't tell you that".

Oh, the relief!!!

Phew indeed JM! I think that calls for early Friday/pre-Christmas . Mulled, of course, to keep with the spirit of the holidays.

We are on operation GET READY TO GO TO NANA'S! Small Boy has been asking all week. I told him the day we open number 21 of his Advent calendar we would go to Nana's so this morning I was woken up with "Mommy, number 21 day! Go to Nana's now!"

I feel like I'm forgetting to do something.... what could it be?

Bean, we collected a package from the post office today (we were out all day yesterday). Please thank SmallBean from SmallBoyScout. SB has opted to not open it yet but to take it to Nana's and open it there.

Gah! It's really bugging me, feeling like I'm forgetting something or forgetting to do something.

Hmmm... the two times lately I had that feeling of having forgotten something, I'd forgotten to pack underwear.

I tend to forget to pack socks. For our recent home I forgot socks for all three of us.

I'm tired. Mulled anyone?

ummm, mulled anybody... why not. may I have mellors mulled please.

Anyone for a mince pie?

yes please, only had two so far today. DH does make very yummy mince pies.

Anyone for a festive Buck's Fizz?

Is there any champagne going? I'd have some...

SmallBoy is apparently very excited -- his Nana found him sitting in the hall/landing, with his legs through the banister, waiting for Santa.

Oi! JM! Save some of that champagne for me!

SB told me that we had to leave "mince pies and a drink for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer." When we went to get all of it out he insisted that Santa likes apple juice. So the jolly ol' elf has three mince pies and a mug of apple juice.

One of the cats is playing with SB's ramp. Scared the life out of me at first!

Has he gone to bed yet? Any chance that he'll sleep tonight?

I think he has. I haven't seen/heard from him -- the finding him was an hour ago which was about 20 minutes after I said good night to him (we were late to bed tonight).
