I'll start.
I'm seeing Kings of Leon in Hyde Park and Muse (supported by Kasabian) in Paris in June. Then in September I'm seeing Muse twice more at Wembley Stadium and in December Paul Weller at the O2 arena.

Anyone else?

MayorNaze · 19/05/2010 19:34

ooh i saw scissor sisters about 6 years ago - they were FAB

no-one else going to high voltage then?

dizzydixies · 19/05/2010 19:40

we're going to see Pearl jam in Belfast in June and considering we saw Fleetwood Mac live in Glasgow in Oct we're rather a wide taste in music

can't wait - oohh I love Eddie!!!

One more to add to my list - Muse at the Casino de Paris on Tuesday.
It's an intimate gig, no tickets sold, had to get your name on the guest list via a competition.
So excited but lots to sort out before Tuesday.

lyra - have you heard of any of the support acts - i haven't. Glasvegas supported last year and they were terrible!!

just got my fingers crossed for good weather!!

LyraSilvertongue · 24/06/2010 21:40

The Drums are supporting aren't they? They're ok in a jingly jangly happy-indie kind of way. I haven't heard of any of the others. I would have thought such a big gig would attract bigger supports.

LyraSilvertongue · 24/06/2010 21:42

I won't be able to get there till fairly late anyway so I'll miss most of the supports. Weather looking like 'sunny and warm' so far...

Just looked at the supports list on the KoL site. I've heard of The Black Keys (I think they're playing Glasto this weekend) but don't know any of their music. I must look them up on Spotify.

Blushing, what did you think of King of Leon?
I thought they were good but the crowd where I was were rubbish. They mostly chatted through the older songs and only came alive for Sex on Fire, On Call and Use Somebody. They ruined the oldies for me

hi lyra they were good but could have been louder. I think the sound was better last year at the O2

i know what you mean about the crowd - i had a big group of drunk girls behind me going 'oh i don't know this one.........i want them to do revelry'

i loved 'the bucket' and 'milk' but the people around me talked and shouted crap all through them

the new stuff was good too

hope they come back to the UK soon - hopefully indoors as it sounded better
