I'll start.
I'm seeing Kings of Leon in Hyde Park and Muse (supported by Kasabian) in Paris in June. Then in September I'm seeing Muse twice more at Wembley Stadium and in December Paul Weller at the O2 arena.

Anyone else?

Blimey malovitt do you work in the music industry?!

malovitt · 15/04/2010 23:21

No, I don't

Just love going out to see live music and am in London where there's usually something on I like most nights. I can walk to most of the above venues from home as well, so no fares/taxis.

I usually buy tickets when they go on sale, then realise later on that everything is a bit too close together!

30andMerkin · 15/04/2010 23:25

Not remotely jealous, oh no no no noooo!

KeithTalent · 15/04/2010 23:32

what are the Foals like live anyone?

malovitt · 15/04/2010 23:33

Foals are really good live.

becklespeckle · 15/04/2010 23:37

Seeing Simply Red perform in Thetford Forest in June - DH's birthday present as he's a huge fan.

Very jealous of TarkaLiota, I love Crowded House

ChutesTooNarrow · 15/04/2010 23:41

Foals are great live, they just get their heads down and get on with it. Although I would have enjoyed them a lot more at last years Breeders' ATP if I hadn't been 25 weeks pregnant and rolling around on the floor with killer backache.

I am thinking about possibly going to the Belle and Sebastian ATP in December but am not sure I can leave my PFB for the weekend. Julian Cope also there, would love to see him.

ChutesTooNarrow · 15/04/2010 23:44

Oh malovitt that was what my diary looked like pre child. I miss gigs so much.

Like most people I used to go to at least one live gig a month and am need to start booking some for later on in the year

LyraSilvertongue · 16/04/2010 00:03

Chutes, you'll get back to gigging when your pfb is a bit older. Just don't forget that you love live music, like I almost did till my sister bought me Kaiser Chiefs tickets for Christmas.

30andmerkin, I can't believe my luck seeing Muse and Kasabian for the price of one ticket. Something's bound to go wrong (touches wood).

Chutes - mine are teenagers now - I had a very dry period when they were little so am making up for it now.

I take them along with me sometimes if it's something they like too; they are strangely unembarrassed about being out with their mum.

I do have a giggle at the thought of me going to a gig with my own mother when I was their age; it would have been to see Sacha Distel or Englebert Humperdink!

toccatanfudge · 16/04/2010 00:21

well I was going to be going to see Pink in Coventry in June with exH.........obviously he's now an exH and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the tickets when they arrive as they were bought for him (for Christmas present) and he actually doesn't seem that bothered about going now............

LouIsOnAHighwayToHell · 16/04/2010 00:25

I am off to see Powderfinger next week

LyraSilvertongue · 16/04/2010 00:26

Crowded House next month for me too!

I'm quite tempted by Howard Jones at the O2 in London in November as used to be a massive fan - I'm a long way from London though. Anyone going?

Exogenesis · 16/04/2010 19:27

oh another for MUSE here.... i hope its better than the 02 ..
