I'll start.
I'm seeing Kings of Leon in Hyde Park and Muse (supported by Kasabian) in Paris in June. Then in September I'm seeing Muse twice more at Wembley Stadium and in December Paul Weller at the O2 arena.

Anyone else?

ooh ooh i saw airbourne as well - attendants were handing out earplugs

also going to high voltage festival in july

Batteryhuman · 16/04/2010 19:33

Saw Stornoway a few weeks ago. My band of the moment who I must have seen 5 times in the last year.

Wychwood festival in June, with Levellers and Seth Lakeman and the Travelling Band and lots of others.

Am scarily tempted by The Human League in July (shades of my youth).

My ASD DS1 is very happy to accompany me, just as well as DH would rather ave pins stuck in his eyes.

i may go and see blondie in june and am also seeing bad shepherds next month.

30andMerkin · 16/04/2010 20:01

Blondie, Pink and Crowded House are all playing Isle of Wight festival.

As are James. Combination of Crowded House and James is going to be like recreating freshers week for me, not sure if that's a good thing or bad?!

Exogenesis, which night did you go? I went on the Friday and it was amazing. I heard the Thursday wasn't as good.

We are going to Glastonbury in June - child free for the first time since 2002, so didn't want to book any other gig tickets till I knew the line up

Hoping to see Florence+the machine, Delphic, Hot Chip, Flaming Lips, Stevie Wonder, Muse, Seth Lakeman, Lou Rhodes, and loads more plus lots on dh's list too, but all plans tend to go out the window a little once there!

We have been starved a bit re gigs the last year or so as my babysitters parents moved away last February but virtually all our nights out in the last few years have been gig related

Lucky to live near Manchester where there is a lot going on though, its harder if you're not near a big city

LyraSilvertongue · 17/04/2010 22:16

I want to go to Glasto but tickets are sold out.

I saw Nickelback in January and Debbie Reynolds a few weeks ago,

Going to see Greenday in 2 months and John Barrowman in October (from one extreme to the other!)

spursmummy · 19/04/2010 20:07

I am going to the V weekend in Chelmsford. I hardly ever go out these days, and this year V is supplying my year's worth of gigs in one weekend! I am really looking forward to seeing Kings of Leon and Kasabian, and am also hoping that Pet Shop Boys, Paolo Nutini, Madness, Doves and the Eels don't all clash...

I did want to go to Reading to see Limp Bizkit and Blink 182 again - for a nostalgia trip more than anything - but all my friends practically disowned me for suggesting it, so V it is

Lu0509 · 20/04/2010 12:04

I'm going to see Pendulum at the O2 Academy in Brum next month. I love going to gigs
Last one I went to was Muse last November when I was 8months pregnant! Nothing was gonna stop me seeing them!!

LyraSilvertongue · 20/04/2010 22:05

Lu0509, I fully approve. I wouldn't have missed them for anything either.

LyraSilvertongue - Band of Skulls are playing HMV Forum on 7th October - tickets on sale 21st May.

LyraSilvertongue · 14/05/2010 00:03

Ooh, thanks.
Although, I saw Biffy Clyro at the HMV forum and it was a bugger to get home. Ah well, I'll find a way. My brother lives in north London. Maybe I could stay over with him.
