I went on holiday with Galliano, i Read his lyrics prior to putting them to music and thought they were amazing.

Young disciples - apparently nothing

I saw, well paid to see galliano at the fresher ball. Can remember standing trying to hear and not hearing anything - my first ever snakebite evening!

Love this label ..... some others that spring to mind Freak power,Mother Earth, Snowboy, A man called Adam and Diana Brown and Barrie K Sharpe - he set up the Duffer of St. George clothing brand.
Fond memories of the Acid Jazz nights at the Town and country club in Kentish Town.
JTQ and Brand new heavies were excellent live. Giles Peterson set up the acid jazz label he used to play a set before and after the bands played. Stood next to him once watching incognito - he used to wear cool suits and hats.

mrsmaidamess · 04/03/2009 20:13

I was trying to find a great De la Soul song from their album on youtube called 'A roller skating jam called Saturday' but no luck.

But we are venturing into hip hop, which I also loved!

OP posts:

God I loved Galliano

treacletart · 04/03/2009 20:31

oh go on..... someone listen to my brother on my earlier link. I often shoehorn his talent into real life conversations, but I don't often get to crow about him properly!
