I prefer R&B to rap, but I like it yes. I never used to be a fan of JayZ until I saw fade to black and saw how talented he really was. When he could just listen to a backing track and then just walk into the sound booth and rap an entire track without writing it down.
Love snoop, 50 Cent, Kanye, Dre, I never really liked female rappers either, but I don't mind Missy so much these days. Not a fan of UK rap, it's just not as melodic.

Loving the thought of the housework to It Takes A Nation of Millions. "Mummy, why was the rebel without a pause, and why did he lower his levels? What is death row, and why wouldn't a brother know ? And do you think Upsy Daisy watches channel zero ?"

That reminds me of my favourite hip hop joke.

Q: Why won't Chuck D let Flavor Flav make the coffee anymore?

A: Too black, too strong.

LMFAO

TheMagnificent7 · 01/07/2008 20:18

Remember 'Wash your face in my sink' ?

And the first Fun Lovin Criminals album.

TheMagnificent7 · 01/07/2008 20:20

What would your hip hop name be ?

I'm Puff Doubt

BigBadMousey · 01/07/2008 21:15

From Doggystyle....

"get your pooper-scooper cause Snoop's talking shit"

OK then Puff Doubt, I'd be Grandmaster Ecover and the tantrumming three

Anyone remember their green cross code? Get the message? What a track!

TheMagnificent7 · 01/07/2008 21:56

One of the all time best.

Anyone know that Snoop and chums made a Hip Hop Porn movie. Seriously. With the guy from Digital Underground in the Groucho Marx outfit. I guess that's the only acceptable time to describe their bitches as ho's. Or is that the other way round ?

And hey, Don't Do It

Oh there goes the afternoon. Haven't heard that for a long time. And now after Rudi I've got to get my King Tubby Best and my Trojan Records best out. No finer way to spend the day.

I'm wonderin' now, what to do, now I know this is then end

northernsoul · 02/07/2008 14:34

I'd be Nice Cube and the Wrecking Crew.
My ds2 finds great amusement in the lyrics 'no you cant have it back silly rabbit!' it has many a repeated play.
Good job i no longer have any 2 Live Crew records in my collection.
Any of their shows or videos could give Snoops porno a run for its money.

BigBadMousey · 02/07/2008 19:58

Snoop's porno sounds most entertaining - not sure DH would understand my interest in it though

piratecat · 02/07/2008 23:30
