How to safely get Taylor swift tickets???

Hi all

Have nothing short of a distraught 11 year old. Didn’t manage to get codes or tickets despite trying different ways. I’ve been keeping an eye on ticket master and axs for resale tickets but nothing seems to come up for two together. I’ve had a look at there are some silly price tickets on viagogo :( but I just feel awful that all her friends managed to get tickets and she is the only one without and is a huge fan. Are the tickets on viagogo likely to be genuine or could any be scam tickets? I’m not savvy with stuff like this so want some tips please if possible on where I can try my luck still and what to watch out for. Thank you :)

Why aren't ticketmaster capable of keeping track of the accounts / email addresses who had codes and whether that account purchased tickets? From where I am it would be a pretty easy process.
Anyone who had an earlier code but was unlucky should be first dibs this time.

So there are new wait lists for the shows? How did people get on them? I assumed it was people who didn’t get tickets the first time. What a farce.

Its the same waitlists from the original sign ups last July, only those who were off the wait list, even if they didnt get tickets, dont get new codes

I asked them this directly in an email, they replied saying that it was true old codes were no longer valid and it needed new codes, but they didnt say why.

Yes it seems to be people who didn’t get codes last year who are now getting codes. Which does seem fair, but of course doesn’t take in to account those of us who weren’t able to get tickets, even with codes.

We gave in and got stubhub tickets, im a little bit worried about being scammed, and they cost so much more than i wanted, but we have to go

I have no codes. I will never get a code because I didn’t sign up in time. Every time I check ticket master if it ever joins me to a que, it says I need a code. Will all resale tickets via ticket master need a code? Absolutely gutted as was hoping to find some. Also are StubHub, Viagogo & Twickets absolutely not valid or accepted at the venues?

You’ll be ok in all likelihood with a secondary seller - people HAVE been getting in.
if you go through viagogo TEX tickets have a good reputation and a fb page. People on fb have been getting in using their tickets.

Bought via StubHub on Thursday- they were swiftly transferred to Ticketmaster. Not sure whether that was luck.

Mine say transfer on wednesday, like the day before

Which date was that for? I had heard most tickets aren’t available for transfer until about 3 or 4 days before the show.

Also, would love to hear if anyone on here got in with a resale ticket to the Edinburgh gigs?! Any problems?

Ive used stubhub for a few gigs in the past with no problems but TS is deffo bringing out all the scammers. The amount on FB is shocking

Lots of people on fb reported they got in w stubhub tickets. Check the group UK Swifties.

Of course they are. People transfer into your TM or AXS account and the tickets are yours. If they don’t you get your money back.

I’m just going by what people have been saying who have been turned away at the venue due to these sites. Not everyone, many have had a positive experience but many havnt.

Bought Thursday for Sunday, so they were immediately available.

I don’t agree with the resale sites as prices are ridiculous but the scaremongering is unreal. People can read T&C and take the risk if they want to.

There are a lot of people on Facebook groups who have experienced this where they are turned away unable to get in and having to go through a lengthy process in order to even get a refund. I’m not scaremongering as it’s not a personal experience of mine, I’m asking here for peoples experiences regarding Taylor Swift.. I don’t see the people who have had a negative experience as scaremongering either if it’s happened to them. It seems if you have your ticket transfered to Ticketmaster or Axs then you are fine, but a lot of people don’t ever receive their tickets or have them cancelled on the day.

Bought tickets via StubHub in Friday for Sunday's gig. No problem getting in. We also used StubHub for Kacey Musgraves earlier in the year and again no problem.

If anyone happens to get a code for London, liver pool or Cardiff that they don’t need (as already have tickets) would be grateful if you are happy to share. Thanks x

Can the codes be shared? I thought they were only valid for the original email address that they were sent to?

There is no point for the seller not transferring the ticket as they will get no money. Stubhub also replace the ticket if it’s being cancelled, this happened to someone in Paris. You don’t know how these sites work, you can’t refer to one Edinburgh story of a cancelled ticket (but there are lots that got in), so not sure why you are still scare mongering here. And in no way am I in favour of those sites, I think the prices are horrendous and wish everyone could have a fair chance to those tickets.

Im not scaremongering anyone lol I don’t have my own personal story to scaremonger here. I’ve asked what these sites are like in relation to this concert and you have responded, so scroll on & allow someone else to give their response instead of accusing me of doing something I’m not doing. Not really sure what your issue is. If you haven’t had an issue then great but it doesn’t mean others haven’t.

my tickets have been transferred to my ticketmaster from stubhub, slightly less anxious now!

@Lovemylittlebear I take it you have signed up for codes and are on the waitlist? I had signed up for Edinburgh last year and had never had a code until Friday morning and managed to get two tickets for that night 😍 Keep an eye on emails on the day(s) of the place(s) you have registered for. I know of two other people this happened to also. Hope you get ☺️
